Story
Wilson is an 8-year-old, well-trained, healthy dog we adopted at 12 weeks old. He completed Method K9’s board-and-train program and is kennel trained, stays on place, walks politely on leash, and responds well off leash. He’s an intelligent, active dog who loves running, playing ball, and getting booty scratches. Wilson lived happily in a quiet, adult home for years and does well with people in calm environments. However, he has become increasingly anxious around our young children, and despite extensive training, this has not improved. For safety he is fully separated from them, yet still shows stress through barriers. Wilson needs a child-free home, ideally without other dogs, as he can become anxious if a dog enters his space. He thrives with structure, routine, and adults who understand canine boundaries. In the right home, he will be a loyal, affectionate, adventure-ready companion.
