Gotten by my little sister as a puppy, I got less then a year later as she had moved back in so the mom and was being kept outside. Now I have moved back with them too, and he has become aggressive when being handled. I’m looking for someone with experience with aggressive dogs and how preferably lives in a cooler climate if he’s kept outside.

Socrates came to us when her humans were evicted and the dogs were left behind. She had lived with a small dog and did very well with him and does well with the foster dogs (one of each size) after some time to get acquainted. She is leash trained, crate trained and housebroken and has excellent house manners. Socrates is happy and friendly and gets along with people of all ages so could fit into lots of different types of family situations. She is estimated to be 7 years old and she is 58 lbs. She is healthy and has clean white teeth so could be even a bit younger. Socrates is spayed, and current on vaccines. Hello! My name is Oso, which means “bear” in Spanish—but don’t let the name fool you! I’m a gentle giant with a heart full of love. I was saved just three hours before my time was up at the county shelter, and even though I’m a senior, I have so much life and love left to give! I’m all about people—I love them, like really, really love them. After spending my whole life outdoors, I’m absolutely thrilled by the comfort of indoor air conditioning and a doggy door that lets me wander into the yard whenever I want. Life is good! One of my favorite things is carrying around my stuffed toys, especially the small ones—they make me so happy! I also love chasing a ball and am the best boy when it’s time for a bath. Treats are my weakness, especially chicken tacos (yum!). I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog because I just want to soak up all the love for myself. I’m easygoing, never bark, and my tail wiggles with joy when I meet new friends. I’m dreaming of a forever home where I can give lots of kisses, enjoy scratchies, and just be your loyal companion for the rest of my days. Story
Mowgli is 10 years old, but he often asks like a 2 year old (in the best way!). I adopted Mowgli from a local pet shop when he was 8 weeks old, and he has been the best dog I have ever known. He loves to swim, hike (we are slowing down), chase squirrels and rabbits (when allowed), play tug-of-war, and most of all curl up at your feet for movie night. He does not get on furniture. He has been an inoor-outdoor dog his entire life, he has lived in an apartment and home and has done very well in both. He just wants to be with people. I am moving to southeast Asia for my dream job, and I will not be able to take Mowgs with me. I will be living in remote, funded housing. He is the best dog and deserves the best home.
