Meet Brandy ❤️ Brandy is a 9 year old Chow/Border Collie mix with a sweet, gentle soul and a personality full of love. She’s great with dogs, cats, and kids — we recommend her with children over 10 years old. Brandy is potty, crate, and leash trained, though she does best on a consistent schedule to avoid accidents. Brandy shines in public and is fantastic with kids. At one adoption event, a few children even wrapped themselves around her, and she stayed calm and loving through it all. She’s a bit of a lazy lady who loves her naps, but she also enjoys playing and socializing with other dogs. Brandy hasn’t always had the easiest life, and she’s a little sensitive about her collar being grabbed, so she needs a patient, understanding home. She also requires ongoing allergy medication — this sweet “snotty nose old lady” needs someone willing to care for her lifelong health needs. 📍 Located in Richmond, Kentucky 💰 Adoption fee: $250 Brandy is fully vetted and ready for a calm, loving home where she can relax, be pampered, and live out her golden years in comfort. Chow Chow lovers stop right here! Gorgeous Minouche is a keeper and she’s looking for a home that knows and loves her breed. Minouche is 3 yrs old and has been the joy of her older momma’s life. Sadly, her mom’s health has declined and she can no longer properly care for Minouche. Minouche, like most Chows, takes a minute to warm when she first meets a human, but she quickly becomes playful and affectionate. She’s a funny character and a devoted companion. While Minouche needs to be an only dog in the home, she is easy to take out in public and she loves to travel. She’s good in the car and enjoys vacation adventures. Prior to being adopted by her current owner, Minouche lived with children, but she hasn’t been around kids for a couple of years. This sweet girl will bring love, playfulness and giggles to her new family and she deserves love and stability with a family that loves Chow Chows.
