Story
Hospice Foster Needed: Boris was adopted from us a few years ago but was recently returned because his owner is too ill to care for him. His paperwork says he’s a Mastiff Chow but he acts and looks like just a mixed breed with Shepherd. Boris is easygoing and would love to be a big couch potato. Unfortunately, he was recently diagnosed with cancer. We are looking for a place to call home for the last part of his life. If you would like to meet Boris please contact AdoptAnimalNetwork@gmail.com

Story
She is very loving and cuddly when she gets to know you. She is a homebody and likes to lay in the couch with you. She can get timid and scared when she goes outside, but she warms up. She is house trained. She understands basic commands such as sit, stay, down, and heel. She walks on a leash pretty well. We are rehoming her because she is aggressive towards our other dog. Please note, she was never aggressive to people. She does not show aggression toward other dogs when walking in the street or when other dogs are simply passing by. So far, the aggression was only towards our other dog. She needs to be the only dogs in your home. If she is the only dogs in the home, she will be a great family dog. We wouldn't be rehoming her if we didn't have our other dog. Ideal new home for her should have no other dogs with a gated backyard. She would like daily walks. No dog parks. We will be picky, but we will set you up with everything she needs. * about 4 years old, 57lbs

Story
Pepper is almost 3 years old. Her mom was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico while pregnant. She is a very sweet girl who loves to play and cuddle. She has been in a home with children, another dog, and a cat. She may bark when she first meets someone, but she quickly becomes friends with anyone willing to give her belly a scratch. She is spayed, housebroken, and kennel trained. She does not have any major behavioral problems, though when left alone and out of the kennel she has been known to chew/get into mischief. The biggest concern is that she does eat our other dog’s poop if she is not being watched. For this reason it would be best if she is the only dog in the home. She is on medication to strengthen her sphincter muscles around her bladder to help prevent minor piddling.

Story
DARLIN' What a darling girl. She just wants to play, walk and snuggle. She'd be a perfect hiking buddy on cool mornings and a snuggler while you watch television or read. She would do well with another social dog, or a family that can give her regular activities and enrichment. Darlin' had a rough few years, she found herself in a high-intake shelter that was threatened by a brush fire in 2021. She was then adopted into a home that just a year later found themselves evicted , forcing them to eventually surrender her back to us. Her inconsistent life has been no picnic and she will need some time to decompress and emotionally recover. She is very reserved and nervous initially around new people. Right now, she's in boarding and needs a loving home and family to give her some consistency and stability in her life. She's great with kids, but needs time to warm up to them.

Story
A1271505 Crackerjack is approximately 2-year-old, 53-pound, neutered male, Chow Chow.He entered the shelter as a stray and was neutered by our medical team.Crackerjack is a handsome boy. He is a bit reserved when you approach him but gets more exited to get out of his kennel than being with people. He is somewhat aloof and independent; he likes to explore his surroundings. Crackerjack would do great with a family familiar with the Chow Chow breed. He is a friendly boy that will do great in a house that gives him the training and attention he needs.
