Rosie is very playful, loving, and cuddly! She loves to run around with other dogs with no resource guarding issues. She knows how to sit and paw, and she will never refuse belly rubs. She is potty trained and crate trained and eager to learn. She makes a great hiking and adventure buddy! Rosie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and on preventatives. Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes! Meet Frankie! He is around 1 year old, 60 lbs, a Chow/Husky mix, and ready to join his forever family! This guy is smart, sweet, and laid back. He is good around other dogs but does need a cat free home. He doesn't live in a foster home with kids but has done well with those he has met and would do well with children that know how to be respectful of their doggy friends. He can be shy of meeting new people but warms up and is a sweetie. That being said, this guy prefers the ladies. Men tend to make him uncomfortable and he would do best in a home without them. He has the cutest floppy zoomies and tires out quickly. He is crate trained and house trained and is doing well learning leash training. He also does great in the car. Frankie is all things young, happy dog and needs a home that will give him the patience and love he needs to adjust and learn. He enjoys being outside and would do best in a home with a yard to play in. He is an athletic guy and does need a privacy fence as he can climb chain link. This is my foster dog Yoshi, ID# A465214. He is available for adoption through the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter. He is a Chow Chow mix. He`s neutered, fully potty trained (he whines when he needs to go outside), crate trained, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He`s 2 years old. He was 47 pounds a couple months ago when I started fostering him, but he has put on some weight since then, so he`s probably around 55 pounds now. He gets along with other dogs and loves kids. He hasn`t been cat tested. He`s high energy and loves doing things outdoors. He also loves car rides. He`s such a good dog and deserves a forever family with lots of love. This boy is such a good family dog and absolutely doesn`t deserve to be put down. He was found as a stray and that`s how he ended up at the shelter, not because of any other reason. Poor boy got lost and nobody came forward to claim him, so now he`s in need of the love he deserves. I can be contacted by email or text. Story
Stacy Dash is an approximately 2 year old 40lb red female Chow Chow. She was found after being hit by a car in Oklahoma City. This poor girl luxated her pelvis and suffered multiple other injuries. But Stacy doesn’t let that kill her spirit. She is still a very sweet girl. Stacy is completely potty and crate trained. She also does amazing on leash. Stacy will need a home as an only dog or with 1-2 doggy housemates who are her size. She won’t be your typical Chow who will run and jump all the time due to her potentially having life long orthopedic issues. Stacy really doesn’t mind since she’s accepted a position as couch potato and she’s damn good at it. She will be spayed later this month and she is current on vaccines and preventions. Stacy is heartworm negative and microchipped as well.
