Story
Meet Frankie! He is around 1 year old, 60 lbs, a Chow/Husky mix, and ready to join his forever family! This guy is smart, sweet, and laid back. He is good around other dogs but does need a cat free home. He doesn't live in a foster home with kids but has done well with those he has met and would do well with children that know how to be respectful of their doggy friends. He can be shy of meeting new people but warms up and is a sweetie. That being said, this guy prefers the ladies. Men tend to make him uncomfortable and he would do best in a home without them. He has the cutest floppy zoomies and tires out quickly. He is crate trained and house trained and is doing well learning leash training. He also does great in the car. Frankie is all things young, happy dog and needs a home that will give him the patience and love he needs to adjust and learn. He enjoys being outside and would do best in a home with a yard to play in. He is an athletic guy and does need a privacy fence as he can climb chain link. This handsome guy is Steel. Steel is an approximately 2.5 year old male Pit Bull / Mastiff / Chow mix who weighs around 70 lbs. He was rescued as a stray on the streets of OKC. Steel is a big-headed cutie. He is affectionate and sweet tempered. He has been around an 8 year old child and did very well. He is sensitive to everything going on around him and can get a little over excited, so Steel needs an owner who will be patient with him and allow him to calm down before meeting anyone (he jumps to greet them, but he is gentle and will correct easily). He is in a foster home with two small dogs who boss him around all the time. He would love another playful dog in the home, but he needs to meet all dogs in the home prior to adoption. He could be an only dog if included in activities and shown plenty of love and attention. Steel is crate, house and leash trained (but could use some work on his leash skills). We recommend a harness for more control since he is a very strong dog. Steel is neutered, current on vaccinations, current on HW preventative and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250. Adopt PorkChop!! Hi. I'm Porkchop. Yes, like the food. No, you can't eat me, but you WILL want to squeeze me. My tongue is out 24/7 because I'm literally just so happy to be here. Look at this face. This is the face of a guy who has never had a single intrusive thought. Just "LOVE? LOVE? YOU WANT LOVE? I HAVE LOVE!" About me: Super Sweet: I'm the kind of sweet that will lean your whole body into you, sit ON your feet, and stare at you like you hung the moon. I have never met a stranger, only future best friends.  A Little Crazy: Ok fine, I'm a 6-month-old on Red Bull. I have two settings: Dead asleep like I pay rent here FULL PUPPY PARKOUR OLYMPICS.  Lots of Love To Give: I have SO MUCH LOVE and absolutely no idea how to contain it. It's coming out whether you like it or not. Kisses, wiggles, the full-body wag. You will never feel unloved again. What I need: I need GOOD STRUCTURE. Not like military school, but like... a person who actually means it when they say "sit." I'm a smart boy, I just need someone to show me the rules and stick to them. Routine, training, crate, walks, mental work - I THRIVE when I have a job. I'm puppy energy to the MAX so I need an active home. Another playful dog would be amazing. Kids who can handle a big goofy puppy? Yes.  I'm 6 months old, which means you missed the tiny land-shark phase and get the fun teenage doofus phase. My brain is still buffering but my heart is HUGE.
