Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi friends! We’re PawPaw and ChinChin- 10 week old bear cubs. Just kidding. We’re Chows. But we sure do look like the cutest little teddy bears, don’t we? We were brought into foster care as 2 day old bottle babies and are now the happiest, fluffiest, smartest little pups around.  As puppies- we’re pretty stereotypical. We’re working on potty training, kennel training, not eating your shoes(though we really prefer eating baby bottles and binkies), and are learning how to be the best pups. Our foster mom wants to make sure we find the perfect home - Chow Chow's aren't super common and can be quirky! If you're not already familiar with the breed, we'd like to ask you to do some research before applying. Here are a few things we think you need to know:  * We’re known to be pretty independent, we want attention on our terms and may not end up snuggly pups. * Chows are not velcro dogs, but we are loyal and bond deeply to our families. This translates to protective behavior over our people, which is a good thing, when we are trained correctly. * Training is extremely important to help us grow into ourselves and learn our boundaries. Applicants with a training plan will be given first preference. * We’re not huge into lots of exercise. A good walk a day will do us fine. * We have the cutest, fluffiest teddy bear fur - and it takes work to look this cute! It's also important for our health and well-being. We need regular grooming and a family who is committed to keeping us clean and comfy. Are you ready for a devoted partner?
