Story
Cookie is a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix, around 8 pounds. She is a fun, energetic little dog with a big personality; she’s outgoing, curious, and adventurous. She loves exploring, going for walks, spending time outside, and earning treats. Cookie is house & crate trained and knows how to sit, lay down, spin, and come. She’s generally good on a leash, enjoys car rides, and does well when left home alone. She can be a bit shy towards new people at first but once she warms up she’s quite friendly. However, she is not good with children and can be territorial in her home. She is also uncomfortable around most dogs. We are currently working on reducing her barking, and she benefits from patience and consistency. Cookie would do best in an active home with someone who understands that it may take her a little time to adjust to a new environment. Once she’s comfortable, she’s a playful and entertaining entertaining companion who loves being part of the action.
