Story
**Meet Brady!** Brady is an 11-month-old Coton de Tulear weighing 12 pounds who loves spending time with his dog friends. He enjoys running and chasing his buddies, playing with toys, and especially loves yard time where he can run around and have fun. Brady is still getting used to people and learning to trust new faces. He is curious about people and food motivated, but he prefers to take things at his own pace. He can also be sensitive to handling, so he needs a patient, committed family who will respect his boundaries and continue helping him build trust through positive experiences. Brady requires a home with another friendly, social canine companion. He enjoys the company of other dogs, and having a canine friend by his side will provide companionship and help him continue learning and growing more confident. Brady is still learning how to walk on a leash, so he also requires a securely fenced yard where he can safely enjoy outdoor time while continuing to work on this skill. Our behavior team would be happy to discuss Brady’s progress, what we have learned about him, and ways to continue supporting him in his new home. With patience, positive experiences, and a canine buddy by his side, Brady has the potential to continue blossoming into a wonderful companion. A required in-person meet and greet at our shelter is part of the adoption process to help ensure a good fit for Brady, any resident dogs, and his potential adopters.

Story
**Cooper – 2-Year-Old Cocker Spaniel** Meet Cooper, a 2-year-old Cocker Spaniel weighing 24 pounds! This sweet boy can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but with patience, time, and the right people by his side, he has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. Giving Cooper the space he needs to feel safe and comfortable will help him build trust and confidence at his own pace. Cooper has done well with other dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion in his new home. He does have a secure fence requirement to provide him with a safe space to explore and enjoy the outdoors. If you’re willing to give a shy pup the time and understanding he needs to settle in, Cooper could be a lovely addition to your family! An in-person meet and greet at our shelter is required for potential adopters to help ensure a good fit for both Cooper and his future family.

**Meet Oliver!** Oliver is a 2-year-old Coton de Tulear weighing 10 pounds. This sweet boy is still learning to trust the world around him and will need a patient, understanding family who is willing to give him time to settle in and build confidence at his own pace. Oliver has done well with other dogs during his dog testing at the shelter. He requires a home with another friendly, dog-social canine companion who can help show him the ropes, provide companionship, and encourage him as he continues learning to feel more comfortable in his surroundings. Oliver is also still learning his leash skills and does not currently know how to walk on a leash. Because of this, he requires a securely fenced yard where he can safely enjoy outdoor time while he works toward building his leash skills.
