Story
*Kojo is in the process of being adopted!*Kojo may be small, but he has a huge personality packed into his tiny frame! This adorable little guy is full of charm, loves being close to his people, and is happiest when he’s curled up beside you for a cuddle or watching the world go by from a cozy window perch. He’s affectionate, clever, and has a playful side that shines when he’s outside enjoying the snow or playing a game of catch.Kojo bonds quickly with his people and loves physical affection once he feels comfortable. He enjoys being carried around, sleeps happily in his bed beside his humans at night, and has shown that he’s a smart little dog who responds well to routine and consistency. He’s already learning new skills like “sit” and responds very well to his name.Kojo is looking for a home that can respect his space and boundaries and allow him lots of room to decompress as needed! A home that can help him learn the best potty-training practices and give him a calm, quiet environment would be ideal!Kojo would thrive in a calm, patient home that appreciates his quirky personality and is committed to helping him continue building confidence through positive reinforcement training. In return, his future family will get a cuddly, entertaining little companion with tons of character, lots of love to give, and an impressive talent for stealing the best spot on the couch.A little bit about Kojo:-Kids: Older kids, or those that are dog savvy and can respect his space are recommended. All interactions should be closely supervised by an adult. -Cats/Small Animals: Has shown some fear based reactions towards cats. May do best with no cats in home. All introductions to cats/small animals should be done very slowly with heavy supervision.-Dogs: Potential to live with another dog pending a successful dog-to-dog interaction.

Story
When Mulberry was captured by urban management, he was not in pretty shape - he had a cataract in his eye, his fur was matted, long, and dirty. We suspect he was abandoned by his owner due to his old age and eye problem. One day Mulberry couldn't get up from his crate, he was immediately taken to the vet and we found out he had pancreatitis. After his care ended, someone said they would adopt Mulberry so our rescuer fought to get him out of the urban management shelter. Unfortunately, they backed out. Now, Mulberry lives with many other dogs at the rescuer's own sanctuary, but we hope someone kind can bring him home and give him the life he deserves. This poor boy had been through so much, yet still so kind and friendly. Mulberry is currently in China, and available to fly to you in the coming months. Please send us an email if you are interested in learning more about him and our adoption process!
