Story
Adopter must be within an hour drive of Indianapolis.Teddy Bear was adopted from the hills of West Virginia. When I got him, he was covered head to toe in ticks. I cleaned him up and he is up-to-date on his Trio medicine. He loves kids and running. Teddy Bear also loves his rope toys and bones! He will come with a vibration/shock collar. I use it to train him. He is housebroken and neutered.Teddy Bear's behavioral issue is that he is like a beagle in a poodle's body; He has a hunting instinct and will escape the yard through holes in the fence or by digging. He will need someone who is able to take him on walks on a leash or monitor him literally every time he goes outside. The vibration collar has been effective in calling him back, I just do not have the ability to be outside with him every time he uses the bathroom outside because of other responsibilities at home with a special needs child. He turned 1 years old last fall. He is neutered and up to date on shots.

Story
Ellie is about 3 years old. She’s been with us since she was a puppy but we need to rehome her because our family’s breadwinner lost their job and our future looks uncertain. We’re so sad to lose her. She’s such a good girl. Part poodle, part yorkie, part ??? but all heart. Ellie loves to play with balls and she gets so happy when given a new toy. She loves being with her people. She knows sit and can be told to wait when offered a treat. She also moves when told “Excuse me,” if she’s in your spot on the couch. She gives kisses. She currently lives with an older kid and is really good at with her. Ellie currently lives with another dog and cats. We recommend she be an only pet - she chases the cats and will occasionally start a fight with the dog. She’s great with humans but is afraid of new ones - it takes her time to warm up. However, once she does, she’s so loving. She likes to lay in your lap. Ellie does best with a yard - she’s reluctant to go to the bathroom on walks.
