Meet Shaggy! 🐾 Shaggy is an approximately 5 year old poodle mix — maybe with a little cocker spaniel or shih tzu mixed in there somewhere? As always, your guess is as good as ours. What we do know is that this sweet little guy was picked up by animal control and never claimed, which honestly surprises us because he absolutely seems like he’s been someone’s beloved companion before. Shaggy is a very people-oriented dog who loves attention and companionship. He’s happiest when someone is nearby just hanging out with him, and he has a gentle, affectionate personality that’s hard not to fall in love with. Shelter life has made him a little nervous at times, but that’s understandable — it’s a tough environment for sensitive dogs. He appears to be housetrained, consistently waiting to go outside when he needs to potty. He also does well with other dogs and doesn’t seem bothered by our house cats either. At around 15 pounds, Shaggy is small but a little taller than you might expect, making him the perfect in-between size for cuddling on the couch or joining you around town. Whether you’re looking for a quiet companion, a family friend, or a little shadow to follow you through daily life, Shaggy would fit beautifully into just about any home. ❤️
