Angie the cockapoo is ready for a home! This 2 1/2 year old came to us a scared matted mess but looks and acts like a totally different dog now! She gets nervous at first with new people, and doesn’t share her food, but is otherwise mostly a fun bouncy playful puppy once she bonds, happy around her doggie friends, and a really sweet cute little girl. She’s healed from her spay, was a good girl for her shave down, updated on shots, treated for an itchy painful ear infection, and is ready to start her new life. About 15lbs full grown, she is looking for an owner who will be committed to making sure she gets regular grooming throughout her life. She was wee wee pad trained in her previous home and will use them but is also learning to follow the other dogs out into a fenced yard to go to the bathroom. She would like a calmer adult home with another little doggie buddy to boost her confidence. Senior Abigail is back on the market and cuter than ever 😍 Don’t let her crusty old lady looks fool you, she is not a sleepy lapdog for Grandma and likes to be up and about where the action is. She prances and dances on her walks and around the yard and is always right at your feet gazing up at you lovingly and pawing you to share your meals or do something fun. She’s fine with other little dogs that aren’t aggressive to her or would be fine as an only; she’s all about human attention. She changes color depending on her stage of hair growth like a chameleon; when she was shaved down she appeared white but now that her hair is growing back she’s actually tan. Maybe if we let her hair grow long enough she will turn purple 🤔. She is non-shedding so will need grooming and was a matted mess when she originally came to us. We think she’s some kind of Maltese/yorkie/poodle type mix, about 8-10 years old, and 12lbs. She came to us with multiple low grade cancerous mammary masses that were removed but should be monitored for future recurrence or spread, and has chronic dry eye that needs prescription eye drops longterm which she’s very cooperative for. But otherwise in great health, bounces around like a much younger dog and is a friendly sweet little girl. Happy Man's journey to Critter Cavalry Rescue began with heartbreak. When his beloved owner passed away, he and another dog were left alone in the home. Kind people made sure they were fed while a dedicated rescuer searched for help. Thankfully, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in, and this precious little boy was given a second chance at the future he deserves. At only 18 months old and weighing about 10 pounds, Happy Man has settled beautifully into foster care. There he received everything he needed to start fresh: a complete veterinary examination, neuter surgery, vaccinations, heartworm testing, fecal testing, a microchip, and all the loving care he could handle. He passed every health check with flying colors and is now eagerly waiting to find out where life will take him next. And what a wonderful life companion he will be. Happy Man is smart, affectionate, playful, and full of personality. He loves people and thrives on companionship. Like many young dogs, he is still learning a few things. He is almost housebroken and will need a family willing to establish a consistent outdoor potty routine. His elderly owner relied primarily on pee pads, so he simply needs a little guidance and patience as he learns new habits. The truth is that rescue dogs don't always arrive perfectly trained. Our little black dynamo is called Roxie and she is a darling Aussie Doodle girl that was born the first of April as an accidental litter born in a rural county of Tennessee. She has the softest fur that is like bunny fur and it begs to be stroked and snuggled with. Roxie has the most curious and intelligent personality that makes her a large and in charge kind of girl. She just makes you realize that you are dealing with a very smart and curious puppy. She is inquisitive and loving and plays with any dog that will play with her. She is going to be a 45-50 pound girl when fully grown and will be a head turner with her shiny black fur and her confident aura.
