Meet Mocha – Your Sweet Shadow! 🐶☕❤️ Hi there! My name is Mocha, and I'm an 8-year-old Cockapoo with a heart as warm as my name. I was surrendered by my previous owner who could no longer care for me, and now I’m looking for a forever home where I can be loved and doted on like I deserve. Everyone who meets me says I’m the sweetest girl. I get along just fine with other dogs and am as gentle as can be. I’m also blind – I have glaucoma in one eye and no vision in the other – but don’t worry, I adapt quickly! Once I learn the layout of your home, I’ll be following you around like the little velcro dog I am. I’ve also had some recurring ear infections, but my friends at RescueConnect are helping get that under control. I’ll need a compassionate home that can keep up with my eye drops and vet visits, but in return, I’ll give you unconditional love and endless cuddles. Because of my vision, I’d do best in a home without many stairs and with a secure fenced yard so I don’t get lost. I would also probably prefer a home that is more on the quiet side. Most of all, I’m looking for a calm, caring family who will let me be their loyal little shadow. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a truly special pup, I’m ready to meet you. Story
Everyone meet Goldie! She’s a 5 year old doodle. Full transparency she will be a flight risk until she earns your trust. She spent 8 1/2 weeks on the run and had to be trapped after getting away from a new person. Shes been back with her foster and is a completely different dog after being back she snuggles, seeks being beside you, jumping on the bed to sleep, even approaching new people that come in the house. Once she earns your trust I do not think she will ever leave your side or be a risk of running but she has to have time to earn your trust. This may take months for her but I know the right person is out there. She requires a patient adopter, fenced yard, and another dog that is welcoming and willing to show her the ropes. She is crate trained, hasn’t had any accidents, and doing well on leash walks with another dog. I know her perfect family is out there. You will never have a dog that loves you as much as she will.
