Story
Olive is a 2.5 year old cockapoo, black, female. Beautiful girl but has some issues to work through. She has a problem with submissive urination. She pees when she is approached too quickly. It can be out of excitement or anxiety. Needs a calm home and further training to address this issue. She is a bit food aggressive- will growl when our other dog comes near her when eating. She is crate trained. She will go to her crate when told to “go to bed”. She is house broken. She stays mostly inside. Needs an indoor home. She sleeps in her crate at night and roams free during the day while we are at work. Will want to ask a few questions to ensure she goes to a good home. She's friendly to our cat but will randomly chase it. She is one to come for a few pets and then go lay by herself on the couch or in her crate. She will require regular grooming.

Story
Meet Rusty! Rusty is an approximately 2-year-old male Cockapoo who weighs around 17 lbs. He came to the rescue after his owner could no longer care for him. Rusty is a very playful boy, who will play "fetch" as long as you can keep throwing! Due to his personality, he needs another dog in the home that is his energy level. After all the playtime, he is content to hang with you, maybe even take a nap on your feet if you work from home. He has not been around cats or children to our knowledge. He needs a securely fenced back yard. Rusty is crate, leash & potty trained. His foster has had many foster dogs in her home & she has really bragged about how good Rusty is. She said not once has he had a potty inside the home. Rusty is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, HW negative, current on heartworm prevention and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250. To adopt Rusty, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.
