Brittany, a mini poodle, that recently arrived into the rescue and everything is new—and a little scary. At 4 years old, she’s just learning about leashes, going outside, and what it means to feel safe. Her first bath was unsure at first, but she slowly began to trust. Story
Remington is an 8-month-old Shihpoo currently weighing 12 lbs.  Remy was found as a stray and brought to animal control.  Unfortunately, he was matted tight to his skin, so he had to be shaved down.  You can still see his beautiful markings though.  Remy is 100% puppy and will need an active forever family who will keep up his daily walks.  Remy loves to take his foster mom for speed walks (at least 2-3 miles a day).  We are working on not pulling on the leash.  Remy is smart and eager to please.  He has already learned come and sit.  Remy would love to have another young dog to play with and keep him company.  He would also do best with an owner who is home most of the time.Fostered in Brookfield, WI.  Will be available for adoption in mid-June after his vetting is completed.  Apply at NBSTR.org to adopt Remington.
