Story
Hello there! I’m Maggie Mae, the most charming 6-year-old Cocker Spaniel you’ll ever meet! At 22 pounds, I may not be as big as a Pyrabear, but I’ve got enough personality to fill any room—no, scratch that, any tiny nook and cranny you can imagine! Let's face it....You have been trying to convince your significant other that you need another fluffy buddy, right? Well, here I am, the perfect solution! I can squeeze into spaces so snug, it’s like I was custom-made for them. Beds? Check. Couches? Absolutely. Cars? Piece of cake. And your lap? Oh, consider it claimed! Let’s face it: Pyrabears might be big and majestic, but I bring a whole new level of charm and convenience. Who needs a giant furball when you can have a pocket-sized bundle of love like me? Ready for the lowdown on my fabulous personality? First off, let's talk energy levels. I like to think of myself as the queen of chill. I mean, napping is practically an art form for me—I do it more than I'm awake, I'll admit. But don't get me wrong, when I'm up and about, I'm all about that active life! I love zipping around the backyard, keeping an eye on things from the front door, you know, just staying in the loop. As for lifestyle preferences, I'm all about that semi-active vibe. A leisurely stroll around the neighborhood? Count me in! And traveling? Oh, honey, as long as there's a comfy bed, treats aplenty, and my beloved human by my side, I'm a happy camper. Now, let's talk rides. I might need a little boost to hop into the car—I mean, I'm not exactly built for Olympic jumps, am I? But once I'm in, I'm a pro at settling down. Whether it's on a lap, the backseat, or up front, I know how to ride in style. Leash walks? Oh, I've got that down. Sure, I might not be pulling you like a sled dog, but I'm a classy lady who knows how to strut her stuff. Now, hiking? Let's just say I prefer a more leisurely pace. All that rough and tumble isn't quite my scene. Toys? Well, I'll entertain the idea for a hot minute, especially if there are tasty bones involved. But let's be real, I'm more of a couch connoisseur. Water? Hmm, not exactly my cup of tea. Baths are tolerable, but I'll pass on the beach days, thank you very much! Ah, let's talk about my social skills, shall we? When it comes to other dogs, I'm a bit of a cool cucumber. I'll give them a polite sniff, maybe exchange a few words in doggy language, and then I'm off to find my cozy spot on the couch for a well-deserved nap. Now, if those young pups start getting a bit too rowdy for my taste, I'm not afraid to put them in their place. A flash of teeth and a little chase usually does the trick! Cats? Hmm, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting one yet, but if they're as laid-back as me, I don't see why we wouldn't get along just fine. Now, let's talk kids. Older ones who understand boundaries? I'm all for it! But those tiny tots who don't quite grasp personal space? Well, let's just say I might need a little space bubble of my own. I did okay with my older nephews who know the drill, but those super little ones can be a bit much for me. Meeting new people? Piece of cake! I'm pretty chill and can cozy up to anyone who's willing to share their couch with me. As for jumping on people, I keep it classy. Rarely do I engage in such antics, and even if I do, my petite stature makes it hardly noticeable. Ah, house manners, my specialty! Apartments? I'd turn that place into a cozy kingdom, as long as my human and, of course, the food fairy are there to cater to my needs! Potty training? Oh, darling, I've mastered the art of keeping the house spotless. I've even considered giving lessons to those who sometimes forget where the bathroom is! Now, kennel training? No, thank you. I haven't needed one—I'm far too busy being the queen of the couch and the duchess of naps! Chewing on things? Well, if you leave some mouthwatering human food within my reach, I might just channel my inner food critic. Shoes and socks, though? Safe and sound with me! I have a strict policy against footwear snacking. Barking? Not exactly my forte, unless those other dogs start bothering me. Then, well, a lady has to express her displeasure, right? Free roam of the house? Absolutely! I'm a trustworthy companion, mostly found in my favorite spot on the couch, where I reign supreme as the queen of comfort and relaxation. Whether it's napping on the couch like a pro, politely sniffing other dogs with a hint of disinterest, or charming her way into the hearts of new friends, I bring a touch of class and a whole lot of personality to any home. So, if you're in need of a loyal companion who can keep you entertained with my antics and melt your heart with my cuddles, look no further. Hope to meet you soon! Maggie Mae

Story
If you are looking for the most wonderful boy in the world, look no farther.  My name is Wesley and I am one very happy handsome boy.  I am  a Brittany/Collie mix, 15 mths old and almost 50  lbs of fun-loving puppy.  I am  utd on my vaccines, hw/tick neg and on hw/flea prevention.  I am neutered, crate trained,  microchipped, and housebroken.  My wish list is a nice big physical fenced in yard with another 4-legged playmate to run and tussle with.   To have a loving family that will throw my ball and play with me and spoil me.  I may be a big boy, but I do want to be in your lap or beside you watching tv.  I love balls,  treats, toys, bones and all kinds of fun things.  If I sound like the boy for you, please fill out that adoption application, so I can find my forever home.  The adoption fee for TX/Wesley, who lives in Sanger, TX  is $325,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Wesley part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Wesley. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.April 26, 2024, 11:33 am

Hello!  Allow me to introduce myself, Hunter Lee here.  I don’t like to brag but I am 3 ½ yrs old and 38 lbs of solid handsome liver/white Brittany.  My name might mean I am a hunter, but I know for sure that I can spot those sneaky birds and squirrels and keep them in line.  Because of them I need a 6 foot privacy fence.   I am a healthy boy who is neutered, housebroken, and am utd on vaccines, plus I am HW and tick negative and on prevention. I know my forever home is out there waiting for me and that I will be loved, cuddled, and spoiled rotten!
