Meet Hudson! Hudson is a 7 month old Kelpie mix searching for a new beginning!This sweet 7‑month‑old Kelpie mix is the definition of resilience. Despite not having the easiest start to life, he's blossoming into a bright, affectionate young dog who's eager to learn what it means to feel safe and loved. Every day he shows more confidence, curiosity, and a whole lot of heart!Hudson is a lively and energetic pup who is always ready for an adventure! He's still figuring out the world, so patience and kindness will go a long way in helping him continue to grow. New experiences can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement, he warms up beautifully. Hudson would make a playful, loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be part of your daily life... and walkies!Hudson is at the age where training and routine are critical, so he needs the consistency, patience and love of his new guardian to show him the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must - leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training. Hudson won't be a puppy forever, and as he grows, there are some important things to keep in mind about his breed. Happy is presumed to be a Kelpie mix, however we cannot guarantee this is 100% accurate without a DNA test. As a Kelpie mix, he's smart, energetic, and ready to thrive. He will require structure, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to use that clever brain of his.
