Story
Sora is a very loving and kind dog. She came from PAWS and before that she was a rescue from a home that was unfair. Given the circumstances of her past, I do feel they are affecting her now. She loves her people and I do in fact know that she loves everyone, but my family consist of two autistic loud children who throw and have meltdowns and Sora has become anxious about this and resorting towards defensive behaviors including growling and snapping. This is a new behavior that’s increased in the last 3-4 months. She loves the cats we have, but do to the anxiety she has it’s become more intense of protection towards her food and bed that she doesn’t like the cats near her anymore. Regardless of her behavior, Sora is beautiful, spirited and enjoys walks, travelling and being near her person. I am her person at the moment, but I want her to be loved and life a long life and with our kids I’m afraid that can’t happen with us.
