Meet Nala 🐕 Sweet, shy, and still trying to figure out why she’s back at the shelter. Nala is a gentle girl who may need a little time to feel comfortable with new people and new surroundings. She’s slowly learning that the staff and volunteers here can be trusted, and every little bit of progress is something worth celebrating. Nala loves going for walks alongside the other dogs, and she recently took a brave step into a play yard group where she did well with her canine friends. She’s showing us that once she feels safe, she really does enjoy having friends around. Kids and cats are currently unknown. What Nala needs most is a patient family willing to let her blossom at her own pace. She doesn’t need someone to rush her or expect her to be confident overnight. She needs someone who will give her time, encouragement, security, and lots of love while she learns that she’s finally home. Nala is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her furever family. Maybe you could be the person who helps Nala find her confidence again.
