Story
Meet Lafayette aka Lafifi, an incurable flirt with a new outlook on life. He entered our Mended Cape program on Mardi Gras 2025. He was initially surrendered to the Solano SPCA, however, he rapidly declined in their environment and they reached out for assistance with placing him into a foster based rescue with our SUPER team. This handsome and chatty boy had a difficult time, regulating his anxiety and stress so we begin to seek a cause for his inconsistent behavior. Long story short he had a retained testicle that was pumping testosterone through his veins and leaving him feeling like a teenage boy on the edge. Our fantastic vet partner has removed his ‘pest-isle’ and he’s on his way to being a happy, well adjusted, house cat once more. We are currently seeking a long-term foster who has the opportunity to adopt him. He may not have a significant relief from his hormones until December 2025, but he has stopped displaying most of the unwanted behaviors that an intact male would. He is a gentle, chatty, playful, affectionate boy who does well with women, calm dogs, and patient confident cats, but he would be happy to soak up all of your attention and be the center of your world. Did we mention he talks?

Story
Maelle is the perfect portrait of a single, exceptional kitten who has benefitted greatly from Rocket Cat’s blind cat expertise. As our special, snowshoed princess grew, her eyes did not-so our friends at UC Davis assessed and removed them to improve her quality of life. Despite being prissy/hissy with new cats and prone to walking off of things, she navigates and enjoys her world like any other kitten. You can adopt her as a solo pet, take her home to your dogs, as a friend for your playful/easygoing cat, or adopt her with Gus and Emma to complete your Clair Obscur collector’s set. This foster home belongs to our partner rescue, Rocket Cat Rescue. The adult residents are experts at handling and raising cats who need extra considerations and have special needs. Their fosters are comfortable with a large, low energy dog and cats of all ages and types. These cats may have ongoing medical concerns, but all of their emergent needs are addressed and you’ll receive detailed information from our medical team. Thank you for learning more about me! Please make sure you scroll down and click apply or use this link: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SFUR/Cat Our Hero Academy students earn a cape after completing basic litter box, nail trimming, scratching post, and carrier training with our expert volunteers. Fosters are microchipped, combo tested for FIV/FELV, spayed/neutered, treated for fleas/parasites, and receive age/wellness appropriate vaccines. We lovingly pack a Welcome Home Hero gift bag with their favorite toys, treats, a comic to read with them, and a blanket that helps them feel safe anywhere they go. Super Furiends Rescue is a nonprofit 501c3 organization located in Solano County, CA.

Story
Callie is almost 6 years old, she is on the smaller side. Her mom was a Maine coon and her dad was a regular orange tabby cat. She will need some time to adjust, but when she does she would want to cuddle. She been an indoor cat her entire life. Another thing about her is that she generally likes the male owner more than the female owners. Gets along with other cats. Skittish with loud and abrupt noises. Often will plop down when you call and approach her. After petting, she will tend to scurry off.
