Adoption Application adoption application >>>  Duke is a one year old, 62 pound Coonhound/Doodle mix. He was adopted as a three month old puppy. When his owner discovered she was allergic to him, he was stuck in the back yard where he did not receive the care that he needed. Duke is now heartworm positive and has started on slow kill treatment. He was moved to the home of a family member who is unable to care for Duke. He is good with other dogs and kids. He is a GREAT dog. He is just too much puppy for the elderly family that has him. He needs a foster or forever home. NEWBIE ALERT!! FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED ASAP!! Meet Tom! Sadly, Tom lost his owner and is now looking for a new place to lay his head. Tom is a gorgeous hound. He’s around 3 years old and weighs 46 lbs. He is a playful and sweet dude. Loves to explore the yard and go on adventures. He’s great in the house and with other animals. He is utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and neutered. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you!
