Story
Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.Adoption fee:  $150.00   Birdie   Birdie is now just over a year and a half old and weighs 71 pounds…what a whopper! We have determined she is an English Pointer/AmStaff mix. Her coat is classic English Pointer…an English Pointer head but AmStaff eyes and ears. And she is the friendliest girl around…loves her playmates at day care. She shares toys and does not resource guard and is everybody’s friend! The guys at her daycare just love her! She loves to play with her 1x3 board and lick peanut butter and treats out of her Kong. She knows “Sit” and ‘Lie Down” and is beautifully house trained. She is also crate trained and will come back inside in the morning after taking care of business and let herself in her crate so the 2 other small dogs can have their breakfast! Birdie would love to have a 10 or 11 year old to throw a ball for her. She will need a large fenced-in area since she is high energy. You’ll have to keep your shoes corralled…she’s a chewer! But she has been raised inside and sleeps in her bed in the bedroom at night. She’s exploring life in Chattanooga but is excited to have a family of her own. Adoption fee: $150.00 Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.  To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.  NOTE: SCMR does not adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences.
