Story
Joey is our longest long-timer. This guy has been with us looking for his forever home for THREE years. He deserves it! Joey has spent almost two years in an amazing foster home, but he really wishes he could find a home of his own! While shy at first, once he warms up he is extremely loving, cuddly and affectionate. Joey loves a good adventure. Whether it's a hike, a walk around a new part of town or just a car ride you can count him in! Joey is super playful, a lover of toys. If there's water around you can guarantee Joey will be splashing around in it, this boy loves water! When he's not being the super active boy he is, he loves to snuggle up on the couch with you and watch TV. Joey is super smart taking corrections well and knowing commands such as sit, shake, down and stay! He walks like a dream making him the perfect walking buddy. Joey is house, crate and potty trained. He is amazing in the home and can be left to do his own thing making him an independent pup. Joey is super loyal to his people, so once he's yours - he's yours forever. Joey is dog friendly with slow and proper introductions and does well with dogs that have a similar energetic and "rough and rowdy" play style. He is unphased by other animals such as horses and donkeys. Joey is a lover of his people, he just needs someone to give him a chance! Once he decompresses and builds his trust, he's sure to be the most loyal and loving companion.

Story
💕 Can you be Bailey's hero? She's an 8-year-old Coonhound mix looking for someone to love her and go on walks with. Bailey can be a classic hound dog: smart, stubborn and a little bit sassy. Bailey likes men and women, is crate and house trained, and ready for her forever home. Bailey does have some allergies and takes a daily medication to help with itchiness. Bailey likes to play with toys, sleep on the couch, and loves going for walks. She is a great indoor dog and enjoys frozen treats. Bailey likes other dogs, but takes some time to warm up to new dogs and likes to steal their ball. Can you provide a loving home and make a difference in her life? We don’t know all of Baileys’ history, but she has lived in a few different homes and would love a forever family. She is very responsive to remote collar tones and vibration, and food motivated, making training easy. Bailey knows how to follow commands such as sit, lay down, and kennel. Bailey finds cats to be VERY interesting. While the right cat could teach her to leave it alone, she would do best in a cat free home. Bailey's $125 adoption fee includes a microchip, vaccinations, and spay surgery. If you would like to set up a Meet & Greet and be considered for adoption, please click on the button with the pet’s name to fill out an application. Someone will contact you within 24 hours. Foster is located in Wittmann, Az. If you have difficulty with the application, please email us at Rescue@AnthemPets.org.
