Story
Meet Gloria and Rex! These two angels are looking for a hospice adopter who will allow them to comfortably live out their time finally knowing love and kindness. They were surrendered to our rescue partner in New Mexico after being found tied to a tree and starved in their backyard. They claimed that the male owner went to jail and the female owner couldn't take care of them due to a disability. Our rescue partner provided food for the pups and she still refused to feed them. She was finally convinced to surrender them and they have been on the path to safety and love ever since. We don't know how long they were tied to the tree and starved, but Gloria weighed only 33 pounds at the time of her rescue. Coonhounds should weigh a minimum of 65 pounds, up to 110 pounds. Even being a mix, she is severely underweight and malnourished. These sweet babies have known nothing but abandonment and neglect in their long lives. Let's find them the perfect home where they can just be dogs for however long they have left! We are requiring Gloria and Rex to be adopted together as they have always been together. Separating them now could do much more harm than good. Gloria is all about love. Rex loves food, marking his yard, and getting pets. They have done great with large and small dogs in our rescue partner, and have successfully lived with cats and chickens! ADOPTION FEE: $50 each, $100 total for Gloria and Rex to go home together These sweet angels will not be attending adoption events. If you are interested in adopting them, please submit an application and we will contact you to schedule a meet and greet if it's a good fit! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Meet Oscar, a big charming Hound dog mix with a heart full of love! He's sweet, goofy, and incredibly smart. Oscar's intelligence shines through in his ability to quickly learn new commands and tricks. His favorite trick is "high five"! Like most Hounds, his vocal nature is endearing; he's always ready to 'talk' and express his feelings. But this might mean he won't make a good apartment dog since he has a lot to say. Oscar's sweet and goofy side is a joy to witness. His antics will surely bring laughter and light into your life. Adopting Oscar means gaining a loyal friend who will fill your days with joy and companionship. His intelligence and loving nature make him the perfect addition to any home.  April 26, 2024, 4:46 pm

Story
Come meet Bobby! This big boy is ready for a life of adventures! He has lived well with kiddos before, but is a bit too much excitement for small animals (including cats and fowl). Bobby can be a bit protective of his toys and food towards other dogs, but we can help give some tips to manage this behavior if his new home has a canine sibling. His favorite activities include finding snacks and serenading lovers and enemies alike. If you need a big, goofy boy in your life, come meet Bobby today!

Story
Sweet Wade has been waiting for months and months in a TX shelter. He was lucky enough to make his way here. So far, we think he's going to be a big cuddler and a loyal companion. He loves other dogs, and has been good around children so far! Wade loves to join his humans for a car ride, and is very excited while riding with his fosters. He does get really excited in the car so it's best to get him a tether seatbelt so he can't backseat drive. With some time and firm commands, he will learn that humans drives, and dogs ride. Wade is great at running. He loves to explore the yard, the fence, the neighbors, anything really. Despite being in a shelter for months on end, Wade is confident and loves to explore his home. After a good sniff-fest and perimeter check of the yard, Wade is content to take a nice nap with his foster parents. Wade can be a little shy when he first meets a person, but once he warms up he is all lap cuddles and belly rubs. We know that Wade would do perfect in your home so apply to meet him today.
