Story
This lovely girl enjoys exploring the world at her own pace, especially when she can put her nose to work! Sniffy walks, scent games, and food puzzles are right up her alley and a great way to keep her happy and engaged. A volunteer favorite, she's gone on off-site hikes where Pinky walks nicely without pulling, responds to her name, sits politely, and takes treats ever so gently. Pinky is stressed when home alone so requires a family dedicated to a thoughtful, slow-paced absence routine. At this time, Pinky is looking for a home without young children, or with kids 10+ who can be respectful of her space as she adjusts. Pinky will only be rehomed as the only dog in her new home. Pinky is what we lovingly call a Golden Nugget - a pet whose shine only grows brighter once you take the time to know her! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 65.2 Age: 6yrs 5mths 1wks

Story
✨ ADOPTABLE: LADY ✨ 2 years old | Coonhound/Kelpie mix Meet Lady — a brilliant, soulful girl with a heart that’s earned, not given freely. She’s not the type to fall for just anyone… but when she chooses you, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of bond. Lady has been thriving in foster care, showing just how incredible she is with the right mix of structure, patience, and love. She’s wicked smart (seriously!), and nothing makes her happier than having a “job.” Whether it’s training, scent work, or puzzle games, this girl lives to use her brain — and she’s always ready to learn more (especially if treats are involved ). She’s affectionate, deeply loyal, and will be your shadow once she feels safe. Lady is looking for a confident, patient human who understands working breeds and is excited to continue her training journey. Best fit: • Adults-only home • Yard to run OR an active lifestyle • Someone who loves smart, driven dogs If you’re ready for a devoted companion who will challenge you, grow with you, and love you fiercely… Lady is waiting. Could you be her person? If so apply here! https://www.pawsonthegroundco.org/adoptionapplication  June 27, 2026, 1:25 am
