Story
Rill is an active senior who loves walks and exploring! She also loves to chill and snuggle up on her bed in her crate where she feels safe! She is about 8 years young now but still has her spunk and spirit! Rill is a Redtick Coonhound. We had actually adopted her out 6 years ago when she was 2 and her name back then was "Peanut" as life does have unexpected challenges, she was re-surrendered back to us to look for another home. We are hopeful that there is a special person out there that can give this ol' gal a loving home for the rest of her days. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW negative, and micro-chipped. Healthy as can be! Meet Corrie!This sweet 2-year-old coonhound mix weighs in at about 53 pounds and is ready to find a home to call her own! Corrie came to us as a stray, so we don’t have much background on her, but she’s been nothing but a lovely girl while in our care.Corrie is heartworm positive, so we will require a vet reference prior to adoption to ensure she continues getting the care she needs. Despite that, she has so much love to give and deserves a chance just like any other dog!Since we don’t know much about her past, we always recommend meet and greets with other pets and can discuss what kind of home might be the best fit for her.The best part? Corrie’s adoption fee is completely waived!Give this sweet girl a chance—you might just find your new best friend. 🐾Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
