Meet Molly – the Goofy Girl with Endless Energy 🐶🤪 If enthusiasm had a face, it would absolutely be Molly’s. This 2-ish year old Coonhound mix is basically sunshine with floppy ears and zero chill (in the BEST way possible). She wakes up every day ready to conquer the world… or at least your backyard… or maybe just the squeaky toy that offended her five minutes ago. Molly is the kind of dog who believes every walk is an adventure, every toy is the best toy ever invented, and every human exists solely to pet her. She is super loving, ridiculously happy, and always trying her best to be the goodest girl (even when her zoomies say otherwise). Being part hound, Molly does have a strong interest in the fascinating smells of the world… like that leaf from 3 days ago… and that mysterious breeze… and probably that squirrel who still owes her money. Because of her playful spirit, she’ll need a fenced yard where she can safely stretch those legs and practice her Olympic-level zoomie skills. She would LOVE a playful dog sibling to wrestle, chase, and form a tiny chaos committee with. The scoop on Molly: Medium-sized bundle of fun Good with other dogs (especially playful ones!) Probably good with kids (this breed usually is!) Good with men and women Cats unknown — decent but hasn't been alone with them or in a situation to chase them No known medical issues Commands: currently speaks fluent “happy wiggles” Crate trained: unknown Her hobbies include: Going for walks like she’s training for a marathon Playing with toys like they personally challenged her Being ridiculously affectionate Trying very hard to be the best girl ever Keeping her humans active and entertained Her ideal home: An active family ready for fun, laughs, and lots of love. Bonus points if there is another playful dog to help burn off some of that joyful energy. Meet Jethro — The Big-Hearted Hound with a Story to Tell If you’ve ever loved The Fox and the Hound, you’ll recognize a bit of Jethro in that classic spirit — loyal, goofy, and full of energy! This handsome Coonhound is eager to explore the world, sniff every scent, and soak up all the love he’s missed out on. Jethro had a rough start before coming to rescue — he has a scar on his neck, likely from a collar that was left on too long. Because of that, he’s not a big fan of collars just yet, but he’s learning that not all humans bring pain. What he does love are treats (lots of them!), friendly faces, and playtime. He gets excited when other dogs or people pass by, and sometimes spins around in his kennel when he’s feeling extra wound up — he just wants attention and a chance to be part of the fun! Jethro would thrive with someone patient and kind, who can help him learn that he’s safe, loved, and home for good. She has quickly learned the layout of her foster home, enjoys time outside in a secure yard, and absolutely melts for gentle voices and soft pets. Once she trusts you, her tail tells the whole story. Ida is not in urgent need of placement — she is safe and cherished right where she is. Her foster family is committed to her for as long as she needs.
