Story
Julia is a tan and black Coonhound and is 1 yr and 7 months old. She is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccinations. She is also very smart, intuitive, gentle, loving, brave and curious. She loves to cuddle and enjoys running in the backyard. She is great with kids and other dogs, always making new friends with pups and humans alike, and also speaks 3 languages :) Julia is house trained, playful, and knows basic commands. A home with another dog would be perfect for her, as she is young and energetic. She likes exploring the world, is eager to learn and has a gentle heart. Since I adopted her, I’ve loved and cherished her every single day, and never thought we would have to separate. However, I have no doubt that there is a home out there that will be just as loving and caring. One that wants to get to know her and appreciate her for the amazing dog she is. Please contact me if you or anyone you know would be interested in meeting my sweet, beautiful dog :)

Story
This little lady has landed herself in some trouble, first evading rescue for 2 weeks, then hazing all of her fosters when she was with another rescue who didn't know how to help her thrive. We took her in to start working on her lady skills. She's the type to pick a person and guard that person. Being a mix of who knows what, she had found herself a job no one liked. She was not aggressive, just nervous. She is AWESOME with other dogs. She is trained with an a solid Off command now and we think shes ready for the cush life. We do recommend a home with no small kids and experience with breeds that take up guarding behaviors so we can continue her upward spiral to success.. and a forever home!

Story
My story Here's what the humans have to say about me: Meet Lady Bird Say hello to the beautiful Miss Lady Bird! Lady Bird is a gorgeous 5 year old Redbone Coonhound mix who weighs 77 pounds. She was found outside of a local grocery store in Uvalde, Texas walking up to anyone and everyone looking for food and some love. Thankfully she was rescued from life on the street and now she is looking for her forever home! She has been cared for at a vet clinic in Uvalde, TX for about 2 years now, looking for her perfect family. Could that be you? Lady Bird loves being around people! Big, small and everyone in-between. She is so full of love and just wants to be close to someone who will show her love in return. She’s big in size and has a heart to match! There is a lot of love in this playful gal. She loves her chew toys and is very treat motivated. She has also had training and knows basic commands. Her caregivers at the vet clinic would prefer her to be the only dog, not because she doesn't like other dogs, she just gets protective of her food and prized items and because of her size they never want that to be an issue for her! She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $325. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here- https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing, Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance*

Story
Meet Duke! We got him today, fully vetted, from a cruelty case that went to court and he was officially awarded to Animal Control after being starved by his owner. He’s been boarding through the ordeal at Karmas Cozy Kennels and they put a lot of weight on him! Duke is 5 and weighs about 60 pounds now. He is happy and healthy are ready for adoption! He gets along with all dogs but he really enjoys small dogs. He rode great in the car, he’s great on a leash, he’s just a really good boy!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.
