Welcome Bubba to CCPAL Rescue foster program. He is a 1.5-year-old Redbone Coon Hound. He is about 80 pounds of lean long-legged dog. He would be a great dog to keep stride with a runner or hiker. He is a scent hound so he will need a fenced yard and not any underground fencing. He lives with 2 other dogs successfully. He lives with 5 cats. He is in the cat’s face and could be annoying to a cat who is not used to a dog that is in their face. He has never harmed one of the cats he currently lives with. He does pretty good on leash but he will need more work because he does like to scent. He would be a great dog with some training if you were a hunter. He may be good for something like search and rescue. He currently lives in a family with children and does fine. He is potty trained and good in a car. He is not a big shedding dog and is currently being treated for a light case of heartworms. He will be ready for his forever home in a few weeks. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Meet Libby! She is eager to participate in play with other dogs or affection from people upon meeting. She comes when called, knows sit, stay and down. She’s doing really well on the leash and is just a sweet sociable girl. She loves kids, and she is gentle and affectionate. Libby is 2 years old and weighs about 55 pounds. She loves running around the yard and playing. She loves treats and knows not to jump on people. She likes to chill and hang out after play time. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Bella! An active, sweet and loving Black and Tan Coonhound mix who is ready for her forever home. Bella is around 60lbs and 2 years old. Bella is an energetic girl and will need an active family that will take her on walks and fun adventures. Bella would make a great hiking and camping dog! Since she is active she will need a home with a fully fenced yard. She will need a secure yard with a fence 6ft or more as she can jump super high. Bella has done well with other dogs in our care. She would be fine with another dog in the home or as an only dog. Bella can pull on leash and will do great with a family that will continue to work on leash manners with her and basic obedience. Bella would be fine with kids, she can just be bouncy and is strong so kids over 8 would be ideal. Bella is spayed, UTD on shots and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
