🎄 Meet Astrid — Wishing for a Home for the Holidays! 🎁 Astrid is a loving 1-year-old girl hoping to find her forever family in time for the holidays. She’s all about warmth, affection, and snuggling close—she would happily curl up with you through every snowy night of the season. Astrid is fully potty trained and has zero hesitation letting you know when it’s time to head outside. A fenced yard would be wonderful for her, or she’ll do well with a bit of continued training to help her stay close during outdoor time. She does great with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine buddy, but she’d also be perfectly happy being the only pet and soaking up all the love. Cats will need slow introductions—she can be a bit too playful at first, so supervision is important. Astrid tends to be nervous with new people, especially men. With patience, gentle reassurance, and a little time, she warms up beautifully and forms deep bonds with the people she trusts. She’s also not the biggest fan of being left in her kennel (she’ll share her thoughts!), but she settles eventually. She responds well to correction, including her silly “hump happy” moments, and is learning more every day. Astrid loves love. She’s loyal, snuggly, and ready to make this holiday season magical for the family who opens their heart to her.
