Story
Meet Otis! Otis would love to be your best friend for life. He is incredibly sweet, snuggly, and loyal. Otis is fostered with other dogs. One is part Piglet, and the other is a superhero sidekick. But Otis? Otis is a simple creature... he is all dog! He loves all balls and all toys and a particular bush to pee on. He loves to cuddle and to give you puppy dog eyes as it approaches dinner time. He will do tricks and listen closely if involves treats. And he loves walks and playing, as long as it's not past his bedtime. Otis currently lives with older children, and he does well with them. He can be a little unsure when he’s out and about meeting new people. He may get loud, and his bark can sound big and intimidating, but Otis isn’t looking for trouble — he just really wants to say hello and make new friends! Otis does have a few fears, including bikes and loud noises. We aren’t sure why these things scare him, but he is such a brave boy and continues to work hard to overcome them. He has been putting in lots of work on his training and has made great progress. But he has been putting a lot of work into his training and is doing great with the 'watch me' command during walks. What a good boy! Otis will do best in a home with a yard where he can get daily exercise and enjoy some space to decompress. He loves to run around the yard. He's most famous for his graceful leaps and spin move to catch a ball or toy. He is crate trained and food motivated. He is overly interested in the family cat so we wouldn't recommend him to a home with feline. He's most famous for his graceful leaps and spin move to catch a ball or toy. An apartment setting would likely be too difficult for him. Otis may not be the dog you take along on every outing or to every patio, but what he lacks in being an on-the-go adventure buddy, he more than makes up for with his loyalty, affection, and kind heart. He is always down to snuggle after playing and will even sleep under the covers with you if you allow it! If you think you could be the right match for this sweet boy, apply today to meet Otis!
