Story
COURTESY POST - DOG IS WITH PRIVATE FOSTER Boise, ID Indy is a 6-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi looking for a calm, child-free home with adopters who can meet his specific needs. He does well with dogs his size and smaller and may enjoy one compatible canine companion, but he is not suited for a busy multi-dog household. Indy is cat friendly, kennel trained, has good house manners, and has completed formal training. He loves fetch, water play, going on adventures, and staying close to his people. Indy carries some anxiety and food-related resource guarding due to his past, including prolonged shock-collar use. He must be fed in a kennel and given treats separately. His ideal home will be patient, structured, and willing to maintain routines that help him feel safe. Anxiety medication or supplements may be helpful. He is sound-sensitive (fireworks, gunshots, car backfires) and responds by retreating or hiding. Indy is a joyful, playful dog who thrives when his boundaries are respected and his environment is predictable. With understanding and consistency, he will make a wonderful adventure buddy and companion. If you would like to schedule a meet-and-greet, please respond with a paragraph about yourself, your home, and why you feel you may be a good match for Indy. We'll forward the info to his foster for further follow-up. Thank you for considering him.

Story
Stella is the sweetest dog ever! Smart and loyal, loves our kids and to play fetch (so much fetch!) We have had her since she was about 8 weeks old, her birthday is Nov 26, 2023. We have just found that our senior Labrador who we have had for years is really not tolerating her being here and we don’t have the ability to keep them separate 24/7. We want her to have the happiest safest life!
