Meet Gionni – Your Loyal Shadow & Best Friend 🐾At 5 years old, Gionni is ready for a fresh start—and more importantly, a forever person to share it with. This sweet boy truly thrives on companionship and wants nothing more than to be by your side through all of life’s moments. Whether you’re relaxing at home or heading out for the day, Gionni is happiest when he’s with you. He’s the kind of dog who forms a deep bond with his person and is looking for a lifelong partner who enjoys having a constant, loving companion.Gionni has previously lived with both dogs and cats and has done well, making him a great candidate for a home with other respectful pets. His gentle, people-focused nature really shines once he feels safe and connected. He has shown some sensitivities to handling, particularly during activities like bathing, and has been a bit uncomfortable with leash handling in the shelter environment. Because of this, Gionni will benefit from a patient, understanding adopter who can continue to build his confidence through positive reinforcement and allow him to move at his own pace.Gionni would do best in a home without young children, where he can feel secure and supported as he settles in and learns to trust. With time, consistency, and love, he has so much potential to blossom into an incredibly devoted companion. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will be your shadow, your sidekick, and your heart dog—Gionni is waiting to meet you. 💛

Story
Boulder is an AKC purebred Corgi that was surrendered because his family had too much going on with 5 young kids and he was not getting the attention he deserved. He is very handsome with beautiful blue merle coloring and a sweet and friendly personality. He gets along with everyone and walks very nicely on a leash. Boulder will make a great new addition to your family if you love to walk and can give him lots of love and attention. Boulder is a herding dog that is active, playful and loyal. Corgi's are intelligent fast learners that are highly trainable but can be stubborn. Please read about Corgi's since they also require someone who will groom him and keep his coat looking as beautiful as it is. Birthdate 4/18/24
