Story
Calypso is a 10-year-old, female Chihuahua/corgi mix weighing 27 lbs.  She came to us from the local shelter where she wasn't adapting well.  She loves to play fetch.  We don't know how she is with cats.  She is house trained.  She can be a bit protective of her human and her toys. She does have a low-grade heart murmur, but it doesn't stop her from playing. A home without small children and no other dog would be best. Adoption fee $125.00 If interested, please complete an application at: https://forecloseduponpets.org/dog-adoption-application/

Story
Meet Connor! 🐾 Hi there! My name is Connor, and I’m really hoping you might be my forever person. I am a 5 and a half year old Corgi/Papillon mix. I may be small in size, but I make up for it with a big personality and a whole lot of heart. I’m a sweet, spunky little guy who loves attention and companionship. I do best as an only dog and truly shine when I can be your main focus. I would prefer a single-person household, as I tend to bond very closely with my human and can be protective of that relationship. That said, I could also do well in a home that is experienced and confident in appropriately correcting and managing resource-guarding behaviors. One of my absolute favorite things is playing ball—I can chase it for hours and I’m even polite enough to bring it back! When playtime is over, I’m more than happy to relax with you for some cuddles or a good Netflix-and-chill kind of night. I can be a bit territorial, but with clear boundaries, structure, and consistency, I do very well and respect the rules. Once I trust you and know you’ll keep me safe, I’ll be completely devoted—your loyal little shadow wherever you go. If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s equal parts playful and affectionate, and you understand the importance of structure and leadership, I just might be your perfect match. All I’m asking for is a second chance and a forever home to call my own.

Story
Meet Dutch Dutch is a 4–6 month old male believed to be a Corgi–Dachshund mix (also known as a “Dorgi”), and he is absolutely full of personality! This sweet boy has plenty of puppy energy and loves running around the house, exploring his surroundings, giving kisses, snuggling up close, and playing with toys. He’s curious, affectionate, and happiest when he’s near his people Dutch is friendly with other dogs, great with people, and does well with children. He truly has a loving, happy spirit that shines through. ✨ Health & Adoption Details: All of our pups are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to finalizing adoption. ✩ Special Note: After observing Dutch when we brought him in we realized he had sight issues. A vet visit clarified that he is in fact blind, but that does not stop him from being a normal puppy. Dutch is looking for a patient, compassionate family ready to give him the safe, happy life he deserves. 💛

Story
Meet Junior: The World’s Cutest Wrestling Champion! 🐾🎾 If you are looking for a dose of pure happiness in a tiny, stylish package, Junior is ready to report for duty! This 5-month-old Maltese mix is quite literally as cute as it gets. With his unique brown and white markings, he’s a total head-turner, but it’s his spunky personality that really steals the show. Junior is the ultimate playmate. His foster family says he is incredibly energetic and loves to stay busy! While he is perfectly happy entertaining himself with his toys, his absolute favorite thing in the world is a good wrestling match with his siblings. He is a social, high-energy little guy who loves the "rough and tumble" of puppy play and would be thrilled to have a canine brother or sister in his forever home to keep the games going. At just 5 months old, Junior is a blank slate ready for all the love and training you can give. If you have an active household and a soft spot for a playful, multicolored sidekick, Junior is ready to wrestle his way into your heart!
