Story
Meet Dutch 💛🐾
Dutch is a 9-month-old male believed to be a Corgi–Dachshund mix (also known as a “Dorgi”), and he is absolutely full of personality! This sweet boy has plenty of puppy energy and loves running around the house, exploring his surroundings, giving kisses, snuggling up close, and playing with toys. He’s curious, affectionate, and happiest when he’s near his people.
Dutch is friendly with other dogs, great with people, and does well with children. He truly has a loving, happy spirit that shines through in everything he does.
✨ Special Note:
After bringing Dutch into rescue, we noticed he appeared to have vision issues. A veterinary evaluation confirmed that Dutch is blind but don’t tell him that! Despite being blind, Dutch navigates incredibly well and approaches life with absolutely no fear. He adapts quickly to his environment, confidently explores his surroundings, and doesn’t let his lack of vision slow him down one bit.
Because Dutch is blind, he would do best in a home with another confident, friendly dog to help him navigate the world and continue building confidence. Having a canine companion helps him feel secure and provides guidance in new situations. At the same time, Dutch still needs structure, boundaries, and a strong leader to help him continue learning and growing into a well-balanced dog.
Like any young puppy, Dutch will need ongoing training, patience, and consistency from his future family. In return, he’ll reward you with endless love, affection, and companionship.
✨ Health & Adoption Details:
All of our pups are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to finalizing adoption.
Dutch is looking for a compassionate home ready to embrace his unique needs while seeing just how special, resilient, and capable he truly is. 💛
