Meet Your Favorite Little Survivor – Full of Mischief & Heart!  Sergio, the king of the forest!   This handsome little guy is a 10–11 month old purebred Corgi weighing in around 20.9 lbs, and let me tell you… he is packed FULL of personality When we got the call from a vet clinic, our hearts sank. He had been hit by a car and broke both of his back legs, and because his owners couldn’t afford treatment, they had made the decision to euthanize him… at not even a year old But thanks to our incredible partners at Seventh Heaven Rescue, that was a hard NO. This boy deserved a chance—and we are so glad he got one. After undergoing surgery on both back legs  at LSU School Of Veterinary Medicine and spending the last couple of months on crate rest, he is now walking beautifully and showing us just how resilient he truly is. And with how young he is, we fully expect him to continue thriving! His Personality? Pure Corgi Chaos & Charm He’s: * Mischievous in the most lovable way * Spunky and playful* Great on a leash and does well around other dogs* And just WAIT until you see him… that little white-tipped tail and fox-like face will absolutely steal your heart The Important Stuff: Neutered Up-to-date on vaccines & preventions Heartworm negative This sweet boy has been through more in his short life than most ever should… and yet here he is—happy, full of life, and ready for his forever home. He’s going to need a family that will continue to let him grow, play, and just be the goofy, joyful puppy he was always meant to be. From almost losing his life… to getting a second chance—now all he needs is YOU. If you would like him to join your family please fill out an adoption application.  His $600 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, neuter, microchip, both leg surgeries and post op follow up care, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY. ##2673416##
