Story
ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)     MEET Zani's Furry Friends ZFF NEWEST PUPS COCO & KIKI FROM Albania. TWO LITTLE SURVIVORS LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOMES! ❤️From being found abandoned in a garbage bin at just a few weeks old to being treated like guard dogs—chained outside with absolutely no shelter from the sun or rain—Coco and Kiki have already survived a lifetime of hardship in Albania. But their nightmare is finally over, and their real life is about to begin! ✈️These sweet, resilient 7-month-old siblings are officially arriving at Zani's River Sanctuary on November 13th, and we are looking for the perfect forever families to show them what being a cherished family pet truly means. Kiki: Female, beautiful white coat with unique patches around her eyes. She is sweet, social, and full of life. Coco: Male, handsome red and white coat. He is incredibly affectionate and loves attention.Important Details: Age/Weight: 7 months old, approximately 15 lbs each. Health: Fully vaccinated, dewormed, spayed, and neutered. Skills: They both walk beautifully on a leash, get along wonderfully with other dogs, and are fantastic with both children and adults. Indoor Living: While they are incredibly friendly, playful, and social, they have never lived inside a home before. Their future families will just need to offer a little extra patience, love, and guidance as they adjust to house training and indoor life. Please note: While they are brother and sister, they are not bonded and can absolutely be adopted into separate homes!Let's give these two beautiful survivors the ultimate happy ending they deserve. ✨ How to Adopt: Learn more and apply online right now at Zanisfurryfriends.org! For direct inquiries, you can also email info@zanisfurryfriends.org. or Mripinsky@gmail.com #ZanisFurryFriends #AdoptDontShop #RiverSanctuary #RescueDogs #SecondChance #AdoptWithLoveIf you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer. And you can always donate:) Cats and Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD w/ all age appropriate shots and microchipped. Cats are feline combo tested for FIV/FeLV; dogs are heartworm tested and rabies vax'd, (NOT lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it); rabbits are spayed/neutered. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too.   Please consider providing a home for more than one dog, especially if you are considering adopting a puppy. Dogs are pack animals and very much enjoy as well as need other dog company to learn to play, socialize and be good companion animals to people. The upside to this is that you won't feel as guilty leaving them alone and you get twice the love. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer, and you can always donate! Story
My oh my, I have a "Nugget" of great information about a very cute Lady Corgi who is looking for her furever home.....anyone interested?  I hope there is someone who loves Corgis as much as we do here at Seventh Heaven!  We are so happy to introduce you to our Nugget!  Nugget is 4 years old and was rescued from an Amish breeder.  Suffice it to say, she hasn't had the happiest of lives thus far.  What I can tell you is that she has truly blossomed since coming into our rescue and into a foster home that has given her time, patience, love and lots of nurturing.  When she arrived, she was in a neglectful state.  Her fosters have worked very hard to show her that there are good people out there that she can trust.  She loves being outside in her fosters' fenced in yard where she can explore and run around with their Corgi.  She goes in her crate when her fosters are out but does not sleep in a crate and likes to be free to roam around the house when they are home.  She loves sleeping on a comfortable dog bed.  She is affectionate and loves attention.  She is still a bit skittish but everyday she shows progress in building confidence.  It can take her some time to warm up to strangers.  She is now housebroken but can have an accident on occasion.  She is inquisitive about cats (her fosters have two) but she has not been physically around them.  She loves to eat but does show food aggression around other dogs and we feel she needs to be an only dog in the house.  She is also given a multi vitamin each morning with her breakfast.  A physical fenced-in yard is a must for Nugget.  The only exposure Nugget has had with children was at a recent adoption event and she did show some nervousness around them.  She has so much love to give for someone who is ready, willing and able to continue with the work her fosters have started in making her feel safe, loved and wanted.  She was a diamond in the rough and now is really starting to shine on her own!  If you think that you have what it takes to give this sweet girl a home that all dogs dream of, please put in an application to adopt Nugget.  Nugget is spayed, up to date with vaccinations, HW tested and on a monthly HW preventative.  Her adoption cost includes her spay, vaccinations and all veterinary care that she has received up to the date of adoption. ##2879279##
