SOPHIE is a female-spayed medium hair seal point Siamese cat, born about January 2024. She was adopted from YAPS June 2024 (with her litter-mate Fiona). She’s strictly an indoor cat, bonded to Fiona. She was very reluctantly surrendered to YAPS mid-April 2026 (with Fiona), because her owners have to move cross-county for health reasons, to a new location that won’t allow cats. Per her prior owners: “She is calm, affectionate, playful, outgoing, and loves human attention and cuddles. Her favorite spot is to lay against the screen of an open window, looking out. She also likes to lay in our bathroom sink. If you’re under a blanket, she’ll come and burrow under the blanket to snuggle with you. She’s good with children & dogs.” We find her to be beautiful, outgoing, & affectionate. She gets along well with other cats. When adopted, she should initially be placed in a “safe room” (ideally with Fiona), to gradually adjust to her new surroundings.
