Story
Autumn is a beautiful cat approximately 6 years old. She was found in a box on our porch, starving and very scared. She weighed only 3.5 pounds! Despite her rough past, she is friendly and loves to be with people. Autumn is still a bit underweight, but is looking great after 8 weeks of good nutrition and lots of volunteer attention. She is in foster care and is thriving. She will do best in a quiet home with kids over 10 and no dogs. Autumn has been vet checked, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, has been spayed, and is current on vaccinations/flea preventive. You will receive health records and a bag of Hill's Science Diet food. Adoption donation $40. When adopting a cat, please bring a carrier with you to transport the cat — they can be pretty scared in transition. Please complete the pre-adoption questionnaire at: https://www.cchspets.com/adoption-pre-qualifier We will usually contact you via email. Please check your spam/junk folders! The Clinton County Humane Society is a no-kill, nonprofit, volunteer-based organization. We do not receive county or government funding and depend on our adoption donations to fund the shelter.
