Story
Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Dachshund-Basset mix and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
In the heart of bustling San Antonio, where the streets echoed with the sounds of city life, there lived two inseparable companions named Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. They were a unique pair of dachshund/terrier mixes, each with their distinctive personalities and a bond that could weather any storm. Judas Priest, with his soulful brown eyes and a heart as warm as the Texan sun, was the elder of the two. His silky coat shimmered like polished bicolored metal :), and his gentle disposition made him the perfect match for his spirited partner. Iron Maiden, on the other hand, was a whirlwind of energy with a coat as dark as midnight. Her playful nature and boundless enthusiasm for life were contagious. Together, they were a yin and yang, perfectly complementing each other in every way. Their story began on the mean streets of San Antonio, where they faced the harsh realities of life as strays. Despite the odds, they had each other, and their unwavering love and support kept them going through thick and thin. One fateful day, a kind-hearted passerby noticed the inseparable duo, huddled together for warmth beneath a tattered cardboard box. Touched by their devotion and the spark of hope in their eyes, the Good Samaritan decided to rescue them from the streets. Judas Priest and Iron Maiden soon found themselves in a loving foster home, where they flourished. They were house trained, well-behaved, and showered their foster family with affection. However, it was clear that their bond was unbreakable, and they simply couldn't bear to be apart. Judas Priest and Iron Maiden bring boundless joy and endless laughter to their foster home, proving that love, loyalty, and the unbreakable bond between two souls could overcome even the toughest of beginnings. They are now ready for YOUR HOME!!! Adopt these two and you will seal the deal for them for the rest of their lives :) Local adoption fee is $400 (together in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $800 (together and includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Once upon a time, in the magical world of wagging tails and puppy dreams, there lived a little girl named Wendy. Wendy was a gentle soul, with the heart of a pure adventurer, searching for her own Peter Pan, or in her case, a forever family. With her golden-cream coat that shimmered like the morning sun, Wendy was a vision of innocence and sweetness. She may be a tad shy at first, but beneath that timid exterior was a heart full of love just waiting to take flight. Wendy longed for a loving home where she could find her Peter, a family to share her dreams with. Together, they could embark on the grandest adventures, explore the world's wonders, and discover the enchanting magic of companionship. If you're ready to write the next chapter of Wendy's story and be her Peter, come meet her. Together, you'll create a fairy tale of love, joy, and endless cuddles. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hola! My name is Pepe, and I'm the cutest little rascal you ever did see. I'm what they call a "Chiweenie" - a mix of Dachshund and Chihuahua, and I'm here to spice up your life, English and Spanish-style! Though I'm a small, shy pup, I've got a heart as big as a double-decker bus. My sweet, puppy eyes are my secret weapon to melt your heart. With my chocolate and fawn-colored coat, I'm like a delectable chocolate bar wrapped in a fur coat! I was born to a lively litter of 5, but I'm the shy and innocent one in the bunch. Don't let that fool you; I've got a little Spanish "pico" (spice) in me. I'm ready to add some "sabor" (flavor) to your life. We can go on adventures, learn new tricks, and I promise not to bark "mucho." I might be small, but I've got a big personality that's half English, half Spanish, and 100% adorable. I'm ready to be your loyal little "amigo" (friend) and fill your days with laughter and love. So what do you say? Shall we embark on this bilingual adventure together? Vmonos! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Hi and thank you for your interest in adopting from The Foster Farm! Please note that all applicants MUST live within the state of Pennsylvania -- no exceptions will be made.In order to help us process your application, please include as much detail and information as possible. Our adoption process is not first come first serve – we work extremely hard to meet the needs of every pet individually, and we do not base our matches on appearances (color, coat length, etc.). If you’re inquiring about our adoption process, please visit thefosterfarm.org/adopt for information, policies, and procedures. If you have submitted an application at thefosterfarm.org/adopt and received the confirmation email from Cognito Forms (your receipt will appear as a copy of the application you submitted), we are reviewing your application. If you are approved to adopt, you will receive an email approval within one week! Because our organization is run entirely by four volunteers each with full-time jobs, families, personal pets, and foster animals, we are only able to reach out to approved applicants. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!Stay healthy and safe! The Foster Farm Team
