Meet Cutie Pie, a darling little Dachshund with a heart every bit as sweet as her name. At approximately 2 years old, this beautiful girl is the total package: loving, well-mannered, and ready to become someone's devoted best friend. Cutie Pie is fully house-trained and has impeccable manners in the home. She happily sleeps in her crate all night, but she's also trustworthy enough to have free roam of the house without worrying about accidents or destruction. She's the kind of dog who makes life easy and fills it with love. This affectionate girl adores children and has formed a special bond with the 9-year-old boy in her foster home. She follows him everywhere, snuggles up beside him whenever she gets the chance, and never turns down a cozy nap or a loving pet. In fact, if you happen to stop petting her too soon, she'll gently place her paw on your hand and pull it back toward her for just a little more attention. Cutie Pie gets along wonderfully with cats and enjoys the company of other dogs. While she loves canine friends, she does like to remind other female dogs that she's the boss lady of the group. Her foster family describes her as incredibly quiet, rarely barking even when her canine housemates are enthusiastically announcing visitors with choruses of barks and awoooos. When her people come home, Cutie Pie races to the door with a wagging tail to greet them. After the excitement settles, you'll usually find her favorite place in the world: curled up in a perfect little doggie donut on the couch, ideally making contact with her favorite human at all times. And don't let the adorable gray coloring on her head fool you. It's not from age. Cutie Pie's unique coloring is part of her stunning coat, which is primarily white with beautiful blue merle patches that make her just as striking on the outside as she is on the inside. If you're looking for a loyal cuddle buddy, a gentle family companion, and a dog who will love you with her whole heart, Cutie Pie may just be your perfect match.

Her official name is Puddles, but we call her Eldie. Long Duck Long Dog.She weighs 13 pounds but is somehow approximately six feet long. We haven’t measured; it’s obvious as soon as you see her. At 8 years old, Eldie knows what matters: burrowing under the covers, being close to her person, and DINNER. Dinner brings the happy wiggles and a mad dash to her bowl. She’s also an opportunistic sandwich thief, so govern yourself accordingly.Eldie has IVDD and some neurological issues with her hind end, giving her a running style we lovingly call “loose in the caboose.” She doesn’t always have perfect potty control either, so her person just needs to pay a little closer attention to when it’s time to go outside.She’s a smidge special needs, and she needs someone who can roll with that. Panda is a sweet senior girl who never expected to be looking for a new family at this stage of her life. She had a home for her whole life, but when her owners had to move and could no longer keep her, everything familiar suddenly changed.Thankfully, Panda has adjusted beautifully and is showing us exactly what kind of little lady she is!She's laid back most of the time, loves being in your lap, and we've recently discovered that belly rubs are one of her very favorite things. She'll happily soak up the attention and remind you that senior dogs have perfected the art of being spoiled.Panda gets along with people and other dogs, although she does have opinions about personal space and isn't afraid to share them. She can be a little bossy with other dogs and prefers companions who don't mind letting her believe she's chairwoman of the household. She'll bark at cats but hasn't shown an interest in chasing them.She came to us without being reliably house trained, but Panda has been doing great with her potty training! She's making wonderful progress as she settles into a routine and learns what is expected of her.Her longtime companion, Tali, has already found her forever home. Now we're hoping someone will look at Panda and realize that her next chapter is waiting too.Panda isn't asking for much: a comfortable bed, a lap whenever one becomes available, plenty of belly rubs, and someone who won't mind occasionally being reminded who's really in charge.Panda is currently being fostered in Bryan, Texas, but don't let distance stop you!
