Loud voices, sudden movements, or physical corrections would shut him down completely—he needs a home rooted in softness and respect.He’s also a clever little escape artist, always thinking five steps ahead, so his future family will need secure fencing and a watchful eye. Ideally, Lewis would thrive in a home with at least one calm, confident dog to help show him the ropes. Fast, unpredictable things—like a child on a scooter—can overwhelm him, so a quiet, adult-only household would be best. At 17 years old, and with 18 lbs of love, Punky is…Spunky (on his schedule) ✔️Stubborn ✔️Snack-obsessed ✔️A certified cuddle lover ✔️Punky is the perfect mix of chill + personality. He loves lounging around, soaking up back scratches and ear rubs… but don’t be surprised if he has a little burst of energy to keep things interesting.😅He gets along great with other dogs, but fair warning, if there’s food nearby, he will try to negotiate extra servings! He’s not a fan of the kennel (very vocal about it), and he’ll need someone patient as he adjusts! But truly, this little man just wants love and someone to be near. ❤️Punky came to us after losing his mom—his whole world. He stood by her through her cancer battle, never leaving her side. From a tiny pup to 17 years old… she was everything to him.
