Meet Osa! Osa is guessed to be a Dachshund mix with the most beautiful big brown eyes and soft, fluffy ears that perfectly frame her sweet face. 💕 At approximately 2.5 years old, Osa is about 20 pounds. Osa has done an amazing job raising her puppies, and now it’s finally her turn to be someone’s baby and find a forever home of her own. She’s on the timid side at first but begins to warm up quickly. Osa would benefit from a patient home but she has a gentle, quiet presence and a heart that’s ready for love. Once Osa warms up, she truly shines. She loves treats, enjoys gentle pets, naps on a couch, and will happily soak up calm affection from people she trusts. With time, kindness, and a little encouragement, Osa will make a deeply loyal and loving companion. 🏡💛 Osa is dog and cat friendly, amenable to a leash, and although she doesn't love her crate she'll relax there calmly if crating is needed. Osa's level of house training is uncertain and, this will likely need reinforced at a new home. Osa is still healing some from her spay surgery and is working through a course of medication so an adopter would need to be able to complete this treatment.
