He’s a premium grade Love Nugget™ with a heart of pure gold. 💛 Ritchie is a 40 to 50 lb Australian Kelpie mix who has been at the shelter since February 2021 and somehow has not lost his joy. He’s always ready for smooches 😘, a good walk 🚶‍♂️, and snacks. All the snacks. Honestly, he loves snacks so much that he might actually be a snack. 🍪🐶 He can be a little shy when meeting new people, especially men, but once you’re in? You’re IN. His silly, affectionate side comes out and it’s game over. He has a soft spot for the ladies 💁‍♀️ and our volunteers adore him. Around here, he proudly holds the title of Love Nugget. Ritchie is a slow burn kind of guy 🔥. A few leash walks and gentle introductions help him build trust. He’s not going to run into your arms on day one, but the bond you build with him will be deep, loyal, and worth every second. Bonus. He’s very treat motivated, so bribery is not only allowed, it’s encouraged. 🦴😉 ✨ Ritchie’s favorite things 🥾 Long walks and hiking adventures 😘 Kisses once you’re officially in his inner circle 🍪 Snacks. So many snacks. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for a patient, kind human who believes the best love stories take time. Ritchie doesn’t shine in the shelter, but outside these walls, he’s an absolute gem 💎. She’s currently in training to learn sign language commands and is picking them up with her signature zest and determination.Marlee is looking for a dedicated and active family who can keep up with her playful energy and continue her training journey. Because she`s deaf, consistency and patience are key to helping her thrive. She’ll need a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and burn off her zoomies.Marlee has been cat tested and isn’t aggressive, but she does love a good chase—playfully, of course! She’d do best in a home where cats are either dog-savvy or not easily startled.If you’re ready for a loving, energetic companion who will reward your efforts with endless affection and tail wags, Marlee might just be your perfect match!Marlee`s adoption fee is $200, which includes her spay, microchip, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test (if over 9 months old), and kept up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting Marlee, you may fill out an application at www.tlcsh.org or you are welcome to make a Match Making appointment to come out and meet her first. We are open Tuesday – Sunday 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
