Story
Please read the ad!!! Blue has been adopted but his brothers haven't!! I don't have them. Info below Blue found his forever family but he still has 4 brothers that need to find theirs. They are still at the breeders. They have lived almost their whole lives in kennels so they need someone to work with them and be patient. We had Blue for 6 nights and he did so well. He had zero accidents in the house, he crate trained right away, he was great with the other dogs and cats. The only problem we had was that small kids made him anxious and unpredictable. I can give you the breeders info if interested. They need vetting as well. Blue was heartworm negative. Attached is the breeders link - his phone number is in the ad. He said he was waiving the $300 fee as long as you do not want papers. Please confirm that with him. I am not affiliated with him and he has not responded to any of my contact attempts since I took Blue. These boys deserve good homes! https://www.hoobly.com/p/74xlXkb

Story
Meet Katerina! This one-year-old kind-hearted kelpie/shepherd mix is a lovely as can be! She weighs 53 pounds and is hoping her forever family will find her soon! Affectionate and gentle, Katerina is such a joy to hang with. As she is still a young lady, she will benefit from continued training in her new home. She already knows sit and is very food-motivated which will come in handy when training her. She takes all sorts of treats gently and we just know she's capable of learning so much more! Katerina enjoys lots of toys and also likes hanging in the yard with her fellow kennel mates. She will need daily exercise and a yard of her own in her new home. She has an easy-going way about her and will make one lucky family happy for many years to come! Based on our evaluation, we feel Katerina would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages five and up. She many have the potential to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. If you think Katerina is the pup you've been searching for, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit your application for our delightful girl!

Story
Maggie!? How come a gorgeous girl like you haven't gotten adopted yet? Well - the fact that Maggie is a gorgeous (non-pitbull) dog is part of the problem! Adopters applying for Maggie wants a pretty, fun and easy big dog. But Maggie is infact a full-sized Chihuahua. There is nothing wrong with this sweetheart - she LOVES other dogs, is completely potty trained, healthy, active and fun. Maggie just doesn't want to be touched until you've known each other for QUITE a while. And even then, a snarl might come out of nowhere. She is happy and content at the shelter, but will easily adapt to your household of active dogs and hands-off owners. Been around a grumpy cat before? Chihuahuas? Pekingese? Why do we as a society understand that small dogs can be delicate to handle, yet we require big dogs to allow all handling all the time? Maggie is special, but not overwhelming. She is extremely rewarding to interact with, although touch is not her love language! Included in the adoption fee of $275 is up to date vet care, microchip, vaccines, dewormer. She is spayed and ready for meet and greets! Apply to foster-to-adopt Maggie, we will be there for you the whole way: rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt
