Story
Skittles was dumped in a huge field in a rural area of Marion County. Neighbors were feeding her occasionally. When I found out about her I went to her every day for a month. I gave her a small blanket and a toy. I fed her every day for a month before she decided I was ok and jumped in my car. Thunderstorms are very scary for her so she has noise canceling ear muffs. Looks funny but works great. She loves tummy rubs. Loves to cuddle. She runs like the wind. She does "Zummies" in our fenced yard, which I highly recommend a fenced yard, or a very large farm area where she can run and burn off energy safely. She plays well with our Springer and she does pretty good with our indoor cats too and loves to snuggle with them as well (3 cats: a 14 yo, a 4 yo and a 4 month old). She's so funny when she naps, feet in the air and she snores, loudly. She is crate and house trained. Hard toys and ropes are best. She has her favorite ball. Needs help with leash training. She's spayed & vetted.

Hi, I’m Zoie! I’m a Labrador mix with a cute little bobtail and a big, happy personality! My story didn’t start the way it should have. I was dumped and left to figure things out on my own, but somehow, I never let that take away my joy for life. I’m still a happy girl who wakes up ready to see what wonderful things the day might bring. ❤️ I’m proof that a rough beginning doesn’t have to determine your future. I’m ready to leave the past behind and find a family who will show me what it means to be truly loved and never abandoned again. And let’s talk about my bobtail! 🐶🍑 It just makes me extra adorable and gives me a little something special that sets me apart from the crowd. I’m ready for adventures, belly rubs, cozy naps, and a forever family who will appreciate my happy-go-lucky spirit. I may have been dumped, but I refuse to let that define me. I’m Zoie, I’m happy to be here, and I’m ready to find my forever home! 💕🐾
