Story
I'm heartbroken that I have to give up Rocky, but I'm relocating due to my job and can't take him with me. He is 15-16 years old. I'm unsure of his exact age because I adopted him from a shelter. His estimated age at the time was around 6 months. He had been abused and had damage to his mouth/teeth. He eventually needed surgery to extract a couple teeth. Other than that, he has had very few health issues over the years. Although his hearing and vision have progressively deteriorated, he still sprints around the back yard like a much younger dog with the zoomies! He has primarily been an outside dog the entire time I've had him, but he is crate-trained. He loves people and has never had issues with other dogs. The only behavioral issue I've ever had with him is thunder and firework-induced anxiety (he typically just wants to be held or go into his crate during bad storms). He deserves to live out his final years with someone who loves dogs - especially if they live out in the country!
