Story
If you've ever dreamed of having your own fetch partner, this puppy is ready to apply for the position. This active, playful pup is happiest when he has something to do, whether that's chasing a ball, exploring the backyard, supervising neighborhood activities from the deck, or finding the perfect stick to carry around. He's curious about the world and loves being part of whatever is happening. Fetch is quickly becoming one of his favorite games, and he's always ready for another round. When he's not busy retrieving tennis balls, you'll often find him chewing on a toy, a stick, or a log as he works his way through the teething stage of puppyhood. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and peacefully ignores cats. While he hasn't been tested with children yet, he has shown himself to be a friendly, social puppy who enjoys making new friends. This smart boy is currently working on house training and kennel training. He's learning that his kennel is a pretty great place, especially when treats are involved, and he's making steady progress with his puppy manners. Like any young dog, he'll need continued guidance, consistency, and plenty of opportunities to burn off energy. In return, you'll get a playful companion who's always ready for the next adventure. I’m a busy puppy who loves to explore! A home with a fenced yard is best for me so we can focus on my training in a quiet, controlled space before I'm ready to tackle the big, busy world on neighborhood leash walks. Whether it's a game of fetch, a backyard exploration mission, or simply hanging out with his people, this pup is all in. Fox is an English Pointer/Retriever mix who was was born approximately 2-6-26. He is neutered, age-appropriate vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given a 3-month dose flea/tick preventation. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. ***If you are serious about adopting, you must first complete and submit an application on our website. Our Adoption Team will respond via email from DollysLegacyAdoptions@gmail.com once you have completed an application. If a pet is still listed, it is not yet adopted as we update daily. Story
Weston is a good, sweet boy who loves everyone. My son took him from someone who was planning to dump him. Unfortunately, my son works long hours and Weston has been left alone in the apartment for long periods of time. This is not a good life for a puppy at all. There have been problems with neighbors and apartment management and he can no longer live with my son. He's an active, 7-8 month old with lots of energy. He has been around other dogs and lived with a cat. The cat was not a fan, Weston just wanted to be friends and play together. The cat wouldbswipe at hime an Wes would back off. Wes just wants to love everyone. I have taken food, treats and toys away from him and he has never shown any aggression at all I really want to find Weston a home where he can have a good life. He would be great for someone who has the time to invest. He's loving, friendly and playful. But he is not very trained. He will need plenty of exercise and attention -- just like most dogs.
