Story
We rescued Zeus at about 4months of age from a friend who had rescued him from people who had neglected and abused him. He was tethered for the first few months of his life outside. After we got him he was diagnosed with hook worms and tape worms which haven been taken care of but he has been found to have heart worms as well. We can not afford his health care anymore. He is relatively good with children our two year old and him get along great with the exception that he is a big dog who thinks he’s a little dog and knocks her down accidentally quite frequently. I wouldn’t recommend him for small children for that reason. He was raised around other dogs but hasn’t been socialized since then so I do not know if he would be ok in a home with other animals. He can be very protective especially of our child and he always wants to be held and loved. He likes playing fetch and chewing soft toys as well as with a rope. He is a good dog and needs a home capable of handling his medical needs.

Story
We bought Colt right after he was born (about 5 years ago). He is a purebred Dalmatian, though we don’t have paperwork. If I could describe Colt in one word, it would be Fighter. Colt caught Parvo as a puppy and had to stay at an emergency vet over night on IV fluids. He recovered well and came home. Within the same year, Colt ran out the front door and was run over by a pick-up. I took him into the vet where he was treated for a collapsed lung and some minor scrapes. Once again, that dog made a full recovery. Since then, he’s thankfully been safely running around the backyard and sleeping in the house. He’s an insanely loyal dog and he’s never bitten our kids. He can get along with other dogs but they’ve got to have a calmer temperament. Colt doesn’t really understand the concept of personal space. He is a bit of an alpha so I’d be careful if you have another alpha dog. My primary issue with Colt is I just can’t play with him as much as he needs me to. More info upon request.

Story
Muma is the sweetest girl around! She loves to play and cuddle but is also great at relaxing, lounging about all day, and laying in the sun. Fully house trained and kennel trained, great with kids and adults, and very friendly. Muma would be a great addition to a family with older kids or no kids. Muma does great at the veterinarian and hasn’t had any major medical issues or concerns. She is between 6-8 years old. Our family is growing, and with a new baby we just can’t give Muma the care and attention she deserves at this time.

Story
I was told that she was roaming the neighborhood for ~6 months before she gave birth to her puppies. It’s evident that she had an owner at one point because of her well behaved she is. She will follow me around the house, wait outside by my feet until I am done doing whatever it is I am doing, she rarely barks and does well with other dogs (outside the home). She is not food aggressive but she is a little nervous in the beginning. It took about a week before she warned up to me. At 38 pounds, she is a little skinny right now but has endless amounts of energy. She loves running and random walks around the neighborhood. She has also discovered our couch and has been sleeping upside down lol. I think she will do well in a home with an active family and no other animals, or one of her babies. She is a great dog for a new dog owner or an experienced one.
