Story
Say hello to Felix, a handsome 67-pound Doberman mix with a heart of gold and a whole lot of charm 🐾🖤 At about 1 year old, this young guy is the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet affection. While he looks like a Doberman mix to us, we can’t say for sure — breed guesses are always just that, based solely on appearance! Whatever his true mix may be, Felix is 67 pounds of fun, love, and loyal companionship just waiting to happen. 💙 Felix is truly great with everyone he meets. He’s wonderful with kids and, even though he plays exuberantly, he’s impressively gentle and mindful — especially for a young, enthusiastic pup his size! 🐶✨ He’s always ready for the next adventure, whether that’s a game of fetch, a walk around the neighborhood, or romping with his doggy friends. He’s fantastic with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful companion — or with humans who are happy to balance fun activities with plenty of cuddle time. Felix is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his age-appropriate vaccines, so he’s all set to start his next chapter. If you’re looking for a loyal, joyful best friend with a big smile and an even bigger heart, Felix is ready to meet you. 🐕💙

Story
Say hello to Zelda! 💫 This 3-year-old, 77-pound beauty is a true original — she looks like a Doberman mix with maybe a little hound (and who knows what else!), but that’s just our best guess based on appearances. Whatever her family tree may hold, what we do know for sure is that she’s 77 pounds of pure wonderful. Zelda is confident, calm, and carries herself with a grace that makes her stand out in any crowd. 🐾 Zelda is affectionate, well-mannered, and seems to do well with kids, making her a lovely addition to a family home. She’s incredibly smart and bonds deeply with her humans — the kind of loyal girl who forms a strong connection and loves with her whole heart. Whether she’s out for a stroll or relaxing by your side, she’s simply happy being near her people. She’s smart, soulful, and full of love, with a steady presence that makes you feel instantly at ease. 💕 Zelda is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her age-appropriate vaccines, ready to begin her next chapter. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a heart as big as her paws, Zelda just might be your girl. Come meet her and see how quickly she’ll win you over! ✨🐶

Story
Meet Jade, with a heart of gold and a gentle soul, she is the perfect companion. Jade can be a little timid and shy at first, but with a little patience and some tasty treats, she'll soon show her true colors. She is food motivated and always eager to please, making her a joy to train. Jade loves toys and will happily entertain herself, but she also adores the company of other dogs. Another dog in the home would be helpful for her but not mandatory. Her gentle and submissive nature makes her the perfect friend for both male and female adult humans. Being on the shy side, young kids might be too much for her. So far she is ignoring the cat in her foster home. Jade likes having a crate to retreat to when she feels unsure. Around a year and a half with a playful spirit and loving heart that will bring a youthful energy to your home. Jade is medium size around 50 lbs with the most adorable nub tail. She is already spayed, up to date on vaccines and micro chipped. Jade is being fostered in Hollister, CA.  June 30, 2026, 10:27 pm

Story
Age: Approximately 2 yrs old Doberman Mix Adoption Fee: $225 You know, I often find myself wondering along with so many of our volunteers when Dakota's ride home is finally going to come. He's one of those dogs we all talk about because we wish people could see what we see every single day. If you could watch him on a walk, see him play, or simply spend a few quiet moments with him, I truly believe you'd look right past his big size and dark coloring. Dakota is a big boy, but he has the gentlest heart. He runs around and plays with our oversized "Shih Tzu"...or maybe a Poodle, depending on who you ask! He enjoys meeting new dogs and does well with many of them. One of his best friends is Rosie (you'll hear her story another day). One look into Dakota's eyes, and you'll understand why we all love him so much. He has a way of looking at you that makes you want nothing more than for him to finally find the family he's been waiting so patiently for. To be completely honest, Dakota isn't a fan of cats. He walks beautifully on a leash and absolutely loves getting outside. Car rides make him a little nervous because they're still something new to him, but with patience and positive experiences, we know he'll continue to grow. If you're looking for a larger dog heavily emphasizing the "mix" in Doberman mix Dakota may surprise you. He'll absolutely knock your socks off with just how gentle and affectionate he is. He's playful, eager to please, and simply wants someone to love. The hardest part is that Dakota has been waiting for over a year. Over a year of watching people walk past his kennel. Over a year of hoping each new visitor might be the one. Yes, because of his size, he'd do best in a home with room to stretch his legs rather than a small apartment. He'd love a yard to explore and someone who enjoys walks and adventures. And if we're being honest, his tall, sleek build might make people think twice about bothering you on those walks but don't let his appearance fool you. Behind that striking frame is nothing more than a gentle giant. Dakota is still young, with so much life ahead of him and so much love left to give. He's ready to learn, ready to bond, and more than ready to finally have a family of his own. Could you be the person he's been waiting for? Could your home be the forever home he's dreamed about day after day? If you'd like to meet this handsome boy, please don't hesitate to submit an adoption application. We would love for you to discover what we've known all along that Dakota is one very special dog. Story
Ive had Venus since she was 3 months, in Fresno,CA. She is a wonderful senior dog who will be 11 years old in January. Due to changes in my living situation, I may no longer be able to keep her, and I am trying to explore options to ensure she remains safe, healthy, and well cared for. She is a very kind dog with a medium to low energy level and does well with other animals. At this stage in her life, she enjoys a calm environment and spends much of her time relaxing. She has been a beloved member of our family for many years, so this is not a decision I am taking lightly. She loves other dogs but cats make her very anxious and scared. My greatest concern is finding the right situation for her if I am unable to keep her. Her safety, comfort, and quality of life are extremely important to me, and I want to make sure she is placed with people who will love and care for her as she deserves.
