Story
Meet Pam. Pam is a super sweet girl that has been with us for over 6 months now. She does good with male dogs though not tested with females. She does have a touch of resource guarding however it is only when she is in her kennel outside of the kennel she is fine. Pam is an all natural fawn and tan girl that is between 1-2 years old. She has all of the energy of a puppy and only about 60lbs. Pam would benefit from obedience classes she does love to jump which she is getting better at not doing but still has a ways to go. She does know sit. Pam does ride well in vehicles. Pam gets along with other doberman's more so than other breeds which we are working on as well. Story
Meet Jolene, Jolene is looking for a foster that would love to add her to their family after she completes heart worm treatment. Jolene will need to make monthly trips to Colorado Springs for treatment and will be officially be able to be homed in May/June when her treatment is completed and she is ready for spay. Jolene is a super sweet girl that loves everyone she meets. She would love a home where she can rest and heal from her current litter and get the treatment she desperately needs for her heart worms. She would be a long term foster with her journey ahead of her. Jolene is good with other dogs and she desperately would love to be able to play with other dogs but currently with her heartworm treatment she can't get overly excited. She has already had her first heart worm injection and will have her next two on April 16th&17th. In May she will have a heart worm test to see if her pesky worms are leaving. As we have hoped with getting the puppies out of her system and getting her heartworm treatment started her heart is doing a lot better. To apply to foster Jolene please go to www.savingdobermankind.org/foster-application To get preapproved for adoption please go to www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Story
Meet Jax, Jax has been returned to rescue because he barked at a neighbor and well we can't really make that up. Jax is a blue & tan boy with natural ears and a tail that is just over 4 years old. He is a super sweet boy and deserves the best life. He is a very smart boy who loves cuddles, is great on a leash, and knows a lot of commands! He's a great running and hiking partner, too! Jax needs to be in a Doberman experienced home with no small children but older dog respecting children are fine. Jax will need to be in a home that is willing to work with him and learn from the trainer that has been such a gift to this dog. He will also need a new home with a 6 ft fence, as he can clear a 3-4 ft fence if he decided to let himself out on a run. Jax is fully vetted and ready for his new forever home. We are currently accepting applications for Jax at www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Meet Dandy, Dandy some of you will remember as Royal. Dandy just finally arrived from Texas today. We had his heartworm treatment started in Texas so only has a little bit longer to go on Doxy and then after 30 days from when he is done he will get his first heartworm treatment. He's going to have a road ahead of him but you can not ask for a sweeter senior boy at just a little bit over 7 years old. Dandy is good with other dogs and we will know more about his personality in the coming days as he decompresses into his new foster home. We are accepting applications to foster to adopt Dandy at www.savingdobermankind.org/foster-application He will be required to go to our vet for treatments in Colorado Springs. Story
Meet Cindy Lou, Cindy Lou arrived today from southern New Mexico. She is a super sweet girl that’s estimated to be around 2 years old but life has not been great for her. It appears she was tossed aside after being used for multiple litters and no use for her anymore. Cindy Lou is good with other dogs and cats. She is going to need a patient experienced owner that can teach her about what life is supposed to be like. She has never been on a leash until after we got her out of the shelter and pancakes and doesn’t walk. As she decompresses out of her past life we will know more but once she gains your love and trust she will be the sweetest girl you will have ever met. Cindy Lou is already fully vetted. To apply to adopt please go to www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming.
